I visited Class Act Assisted Living Homes N. Los Alamos. I didn't see any actual care, but the room that they had for my mother was unacceptable. The staff made a good impression. It was just the room. There was a dirty carpet in there, and it was small and just not someplace where I would keep my mother. The staff seemed to be knowledgeable, had the paperwork in order, and friendly. The atmosphere seemed OK. Their dining area was neatly kept, and there were one or two residents in the area and they seemed to be content. The big thing was she didn't have her own bathroom. She was going to have to share a bathroom with three other people and that's not something she could do. The main room was fine where they sit and watch TV. The kitchen was right there, too. The room was bad. Everything else was OK.
