Mom is at Guiding Angels Assisted Living and it's a private home. She has a private room, they decorate it to the person's taste, and they put in new furniture for her. The owner is very responsive, everybody is tender, caring, and they have a 24-hour staff. It's very convenient and they had an open-door policy, so I can come and go.

Guiding Angels seemed to be like a family, and they're very family-oriented. One of the gentlemen there takes my dad for a walk. They're very nice to him, and they try to work with him. They serve three meals, and there are snacks and constant fruit out for them all the time. The staff is very helpful and engaged. Everything is included, and they do laundry. We don't give them a penny extra at all during the month. They do a very good job to the facility they have. We are very pleased with the assistance they give my dad and with the care they provide for him.

We looked at a group home called Guiding Angels. They are different than the other ones we looked at. There were only about 10 people there, but it seemed very nice. The owner was nice. All the caregivers we saw were nice. All the people were in a clean state and in very happy spirits. They were good people. Everything I saw there was extremely nice. Food looked like they cook everything from scratch, and they made adjustments for people on their food. It was a very nice place.
