This facility is in a hospital setting with dedicated therapy for about 3 hours a day. Being there over the December holidays, we didn’t always have that much therapy on a daily basus. The therapists were professional and patient with my patient. The rooms are hospital style with a private bathroom. There are some nice lounges on the floors and therapy areas outside. The food is served hospital style and if you forget to order for the next day, they come by with a menu before the end of the day to ask you to order.. Guest meals are $4-5. Meals are repetitive with the same thing every Monday, every Tuesday, etc. The food is average with a limited selection. The Nutritionist on staff is amazing and people that work there in PT, OT, and in Nursing and Aid positions genuinely care about their patients. I did hear some discontented employees sharing thoughts while working at the nurses’ station. I don’t believe that this impacted the care that was given. Overall a good place for someone who needs serious rehabilitation before going home or to a skilled nursing facility.

My wife was admitted a second time to this facility. Received a call from the admitting/attending physician Dr. Mohaammad saying my wife was unable to participate in physical therapy and wanted me to remove her- I was not able to visit the hospital because of a positive Covid test-- I asked what my options were and he said take her home or send to hospice. He was rude and insulting. I told him I would not do either and transport her to Barrow Neurological where she would receive appropriate care.

The private rooms are a nice size. The OT and PT professionals are first class. They are knowledgeable and provide excellent rehab. The nurses are OK but over-worked. I am unable to give THE HOSPITAL (doctor, administrators) more than two stars because they are NOT "patient centered." They seem to work on a "business model" that does not put patient needs at the top of their list. My husband was released on October 28 with a temperature of 101 degrees, a chest cough, and an infection at his catheter. He was home for all of 6 hours until he was unable to move or even be lifted. We called Dignity Rehab to request readmission and they denied our request. We then called for an ambulance that took my husband to Osborn Honor Health Hospital ER. He was there for 4 days to remedy the medical errors from Dignity Rehab. It's too bad the administration of Dignity is so far below the quality of its therapy staff.
