We found Homestead Village Of Fairhope for my mother. They have been wonderful. The people are very kind. They gave her several options and told us options for when she will need to move into assisted living, which they also have on the ground. They have a lot of in-house activities available like water aerobics and exercise classes. They also do out-of-town excursions.

I toured Homestead Village of Fairhope. It's a very nice place. I have another appointment today to go and see it again and have lunch there. I didn't sample the food, but I was concerned after looking at reviews that the food was not up to par, so I'm going to have lunch there today. But, it's a nice place, they have an indoor pool, and it has activities. The people seem to be happy. The one that assisted me during my tour was trying to sell an apartment. He was nice, informative, and everything. Right now, I don't know what I don't know, but the rest of the staff seem to be very nice. They have a workout room, an indoor pool with aqua aerobics, and different things with that. They have housekeeping that comes every two weeks, and they'll also do your bedding and towels. They serve two meals a day, breakfast and lunch. With kitchens, you don't have to buy a meal plan, and with kitchenettes which are studios mainly, you can get a meal plan with your apartment rent.

We visited the Homestead Village of Fairhope. It was real good. The rooms were real comfortable, and there's plenty of room. They've been pretty nice to me. The staff was good and real pleasant. We didn't have time to stay for lunch. Some of the rooms had a kitchenette, some of them didn't.

The Huntingdon At Homestead Village's staff was courteous. The only problem we had with this was the campus living style versus the all-in-one building. The place looked good and the people were friendly. They have nice facilities, it was well taken care of and clean, and the staff was friendly. They have a swimming pool, exercises, and washer and dryer in the apartment.

Homestead Village Of Fairhope is the one I really liked, and I would live there. I really liked the apartments and cottages. They had homes you can buy and pay a certain amount for maintenance. I had a problem with the offices and reception area; they were a disaster and cluttered. The lady who was showing us around said they were changing everything and trying to get everything together, but it's not a new place, so it should have already been together. I went to one lady's apartment with really big closets. There weren't any vacancies. I liked the arrangement of the place.

Residents are joyful; I ate dinner on Sunday and most dressed as if it was special . My friend lives there and I was invited by her after church. The food was delicious.

Homestead Village of Fairhope was very nice. I liked the area, and the way it was laid out but they didn’t have assisted living for my relative. The staff member was great. She gave me all kinds of information and was very helpful. I saw how the apartments were laid out. It’s a perfect place if you want to be close to everything, like doctors and shopping. Everything is right there. It’s a really nice place.

Homestead Village was originally a private hotel that has been converted. In addition to independent living and assisted living apartments, it also had individually owned homes, which is a very nice feature. It had a physical therapy component that is not owned by the facility but rents space on the campus and provides residents with doctor-prescribed physical therapy, and then of course residents can also use the exercise equipment. The staff was excellent, very friendly, and very knowledgeable. There were activities going on when we visited.

Homestead is a huge place that had everything you can possibly want. It was lovely, and the lady there was nice. A lady from the arts association comes and teaches art. They had an exercise room, swimming pool, villas, and rooms where you can entertain your guests.

I don’t think I would choose Homestead Village, because it has something to do with the mix of people living there. They had a lot of locals. It’s not anything bad, but it's just not my thing. The Homestead has been there for a number of years. They used to have a dining hall where the local people can go and eat. Food is average but not bad. The people were nice and friendly. They have a small swimming pool, and a lot of residents use that for water activities and exercise. They have a small bar that’s open some evenings.

My mom is in Homestead Village for 3 or 4 months now. It is excellent. We are very satisfied. The property is gorgeous. She has a one-bedroom apartment, which is perfect. She loves it. She is very happy. She has made a lot of friends. They have a lot of things going on. It has been a very good experience, so far. I have not seen anything I am not happy with. I will definitely advocate for it. As a matter of fact, my sister and I were just talking to someone who is recently looking for a place for their parents, and we highly commended it. It is very reasonable also because it is not for profit. It is a very lovely community. It is very well maintained. People there are very happy, very friendly, and very outgoing. It seems to be a good community, and we are very pleased.

We looked at Homestead Village which we really liked. That would have been a good choice. It was really nice. The way everything was laid out was really nice as well. The staff that accommodated us during our visit was very friendly. She interacted with other staff members as well as the residents. It seemed like a really friendly place to be.

Homestead Village of Fairhope was a wonderful place. My mother was very happy there, and they took very good care of her for about 10 years. She was in three different levels. The food sometimes was very good, sometimes not. The staff seemed excellent. The facilities were beautiful. The rooms were very nice, and she brought her own furniture. They had a swimming pool and a fitness room. Security was fine; I never heard of any problems there. I thought they were great, and I absolutely would recommend them.

The staff at Homestead Village was very polite and cooperative, and they answered all my questions. The rooms I would anticipate I would like are the 2-bedrooms. They have hot tubs, an exercise room, and card games. I like the way the rooms were laid out and that people talk and walk. The people looked very happy.

what is a neighbor? A neighbor is the person in need. our neighbor moved to Homestead and after a short while became terminal with cancer. The providers of her care were HOMESTEAD, and they walked hand in hand wth doctors, family, and HOSPICE - that is the best definition of Neighbor's United I can give. Thanks Homestead in co-operation with eldercare resources Caring .com

Homested is a lovely well runs facility. The staff was very warm and friendly they all were exceptionally attentive. The residents were all well cared for. They were clean, alert and bright. The facility was clean and well decorated. The rooms are average room's good size with nice basic furniture. You may bring personal effects to make it your home. The grounds are nice and well maintained. They offer activities daily and encourage the residents to come out of their rooms and mingle. The staff and residents were engaged in games, walks, programs, worship services, Bible Study and watching movies. The staff seems to be a great source of comfort and company for the residents. The dining hall was nice and the menu seemed to be well planned with healthy options. The choice to move a loved one from their home is difficult at best. If you have to move them this facility is an excellent choice and they will be well cared for.

I was really impressed with the facilities at Homestead Village. My mother suffers from Alzheimer's, and one of the things that made me feel comfortable with my mother living at Homestead was the way that the staff manages their 24 hour care. There is always an ample amount of staff, nurses, and aides on duty. Every time I have visited Homestead there is always an employee presence. Although everyone who is there has different needs, my mother tends to wander and knowing that there are adequate staff in each room or open area is a comfort to me. I know that my mother is safe in between visits and is being properly taken care of. Homestead has a great meal plan, housekeeping services and what they refer to as "daily task assistance." I also have an aunt who lives at Homestead, and although my mother and my aunts needs are very different, the employees at Homestead assist them on an individual basis. For example, my aunt has severe arthritis, and one of the "daily tasks" she sometimes needs help with is getting on her shoes. From small things to more difficult things, it really does not matter; the specialized attention is easy to see if you visit Homestead. And I have not even discussed the medical care, which is also great. I am just really happy that my family is well taken care of and gets all of the help they need for the little things in life that I can not always be there to help them with.
