My brother has moved into Limestone Lodge. The overall experience can be described as pleasant and friendly with a home-like atmosphere. I chose this community for exactly those reasons. I visited some other places and some looked and smelled like a nursing home. Limestone Lodge looked like it had people of my brother's socio-economic status, educational background, and roughly the same age, and I thought he'd be more comfortable with people from his same type of background. The facility director is very personable, very informative, and very helpful. She gave me her cell phone number and her office number. I had a couple of questions and issues getting my brother moved in, and she was able to handle them. She was even available off-duty for answers. She was instrumental in us picking the place. I met a couple of the staff members. I especially want to appoint a special notice to Rebecca. She is an LPN there. She was very informative and patient. She welcomed my brother personally. She spent time getting to know him and explained to him a little bit about the schedule, the activities, the people, and that type of thing. I liked Stephanie and Rebecca. They welcomed us like we were family. We wanted my brother to have a family atmosphere. My brother says the food is fine, but he didn't think there was enough of it. My brother is 6 feet 4 inches and 257 pounds, so he may eat a little more than your average person. I liked the condition of the facilities. Broad drive, plenty of parking, neatly trimmed lawn, and neat porch with lots of places to sit. It had a clean foyer and living activity area. The dining area was spic and span. My brother was able to move into a room that had just recently been remodeled. I think the remodel was completed two days before he moved in and it still smelled like fresh paint. It's got a step-in shower, new cabinets, a new toilet, and fresh paint. The closet has been redone. There are large closets. So he was very happy with that. There was plenty to do for activities but I'm not sure that they were all specific to my brother that he would have enjoyed them. He would enjoy some of them. He's more of a loner, so he would not have engaged in the activities maybe as much as some of the other residents, especially at first. I think as he gets more comfortable, he will engage more. However, every time I went there, there was somebody there with the clients. They were either providing care or providing meals. They're doing things like watching TV with them, talking with them, playing cards, and playing board games. There's a lot of involvement and activities with the clients, and I like that because it needs to be a home atmosphere where everybody's comfortable with each other.

I toured Limestone Lodge. I liked that the person in charge was an RN. The place was clean. She took us back and showed us a room that was really impressive, a room that a resident had decorated herself and I was impressed with the attitude of the person in charge and the attitude of the people who were there. So it was a nice facility.

I was very impressed with Limestone Lodge. It was clean, and they had very nice staff there. The dining area was nice and clean, and the rooms were nice, too. The person who toured me around was nice and very informative. They had an activity room and an exercise room.

With COVID, we're not allowed to go into Limestone Lodge. My mother seems happy and involved. With the move-in process, they let us go in and get her room set up, so they were very accommodating. I don't have anything bad to say about that. From the outside looking in, everything looks good. The move-in process went great, but it's just hard to give a review when you're not allowed back in. The nurse said they had played some Christmas trivia games. They do activities, and Mom is helping when they have meals. She'll help tidy up the dining room, and she's enjoying helping them do that. However, Mom has dementia; you don't know what to believe and what not to believe. I was very impressed with her room. It was clean and neat. I have no complaints. They seem to have Mama out active. She's not sitting in her room because every time I call her, I can't get an answer. They also did a virtual tour, and they were very good with that. They showed me the room they had for Mama and I asked to see a room with furniture in it, so they took me into another apartment that somebody was in and I could see what all they could get in the room. They were very good with their tour.

My mom has been in the Lodge for the past 3 years. The staff has been a God send. We have had zero issues and if we did i have no doubt that Jennifer(admin) and her staff would help in solving the issue. We are grateful to have this community here for our mom. She also has a very ample amount of space that we set up like a efficiency apt.

Limestone Lodge was really small. One building is assisted living and the other building is memory care. They're mirror images. The staff member I talked to was sweet, personable, and not pushy. The facility was very homey.

We went for a tour at Limestone Lodge, and it was very clean. We asked all kinds of question and they answered everything. It was clean, and I liked it. It's the kind of facility my dad needs. They have all kinds of activities to keep him busy. They have a bus, and they take the residents out. However, we found out that he needed more care than assisted living.

Limestone was an older facility, but it was clean and nice. The staff was nice and helpful; they play games and sing with the residents.

So far, my in-laws are doing really well here. The main thing is monitoring medication, but they also do the laundry and clean my mother-in-law’s room. As far as personal affairs, she goes to the dining room and eats, takes her own shower, and things like that independently.
