There's nothing that's set saying that this is going to happen and occur. For example, someone will come or they're supposed to come but they don't come. There's no consistency. It makes it confusing, especially with someone who is dealing with what the client is dealing with regarding Alzheimer's. I don't know that it's the people who are in charge of running the company itself, but there's just not a lot of good communication. Sometimes there's not communication within the people running the company and the people using the service. Other times, there's also not good communication through the people who work for the company. They don't communicate with me very well and because of the issues we've had, they don't communicate with them very well either.

We used SYNERGY HomeCare of Lake Ridge for my mom. They were affordable. They did a great job for the time we had them. They would do laundry and would give her lunch and dinner if needed, and look after her that way. They were a companion to her more than anything. Both of the caregivers who came near the end were fantastic. They were very good with her. There were a few times I had to rearrange the schedule a little bit, and they always came through for me.

He can't be left alone so we have to have someone with him at all times, it's a huge impact. I like that they communicate well, and I haven't had any issues regarding the care of my brother someone is always there. They always handle any problems and they let me know if they have to send a sub.

It's part of the contract that they're supposed to be here for 4 hours and they need to do all of the things they do when they're here. They clean her bathroom and things like that. They're willing to do it if asked, but not on their own. I'd like them to provide more training.

David was fabulous. The caregiver helped the most by taking the client to the doctor. We needed to go to the doctor and I couldn't get the client there by myself. We only had the one service from the agency because I was stuck and couldn't get anyone to transport the client. They were very gracious in accommodating our needs and they were very helpful. If we need someone in the future, we will reach out to them.
