The caregiver is a good match personality wise and in terms of process of how they approach the client. I like how the agency tries to work with me in terms of staffing, where we can try to get someone to come frequently.

She takes her pills at certain times and they remind her. They make her bed and do her clothes. They help her cook as well. They have worked with us so far, the price is good as well. The people are nice and easy to work with.

The client was in a hospital bed the whole time, so he wasn't really doing anything. The caregivers had a positive impact because they were friendly. One lady ordered some supplies for a donation spot that helped us out a lot. I liked that they were on time, they seemed to be caring, and they knew what they were doing.

I am not entirely sure how the caregivers could have a greater impact. It's often a different person each day so it takes a little while for them to get into the routine or for them to become familiar with where things are in the house. Over time, I think they're doing fine. I like that everybody that has come has been knowledgeable, very nice, and able to be helpful to us.

I needed more companionship. They were here for about three hours a time. It was appropriate for the amount of time for the level of care. I like the way they introduced themselves by sending someone to explain what Brightstar is and to decide my needs. If you like someone, they try to keep them with you.

I don't think it has impacted her life, but it's impacted mine. It has made us be more aware. It was hard to get things done before. I was worried all the time before and now I don't worry near as much that we're not going to catch something. I like this agency because they've been great to work with and they're all friendly. The people we've had have been great.

There wasn't anything they could have done to have a greater impact. They got her up, got her dressed, and fed her when we weren't around. Most of their aides were good, and some of them were a little sketchy.

My mom doesn't have much memory left. She does seem to like the girls, but it's impacted our life to get out of the house because before we were home bound. We have had two different girls come out and work with my mom. They are attentive and darling girls and are really willing to work with our schedule.

I don't really love having someone in my home. The person we had before was great with him and became extended family. It's a challenge in general having new people coming in. The people coming have been nice, but it's exhausting. I don't like them bringing four or five different people into my house in a week. When their supervisor came to evaluate the nurse who was giving care, we didn't even know she was coming. I like to know when people are going to come to my house. If that happens again

They had the driver here exactly when I wanted him to be here. He was very nice and very pleasant. He was exactly picking me up when I wanted him to. I like that they are very efficient. They listen when you talk to them and explain what you need.

The nurse was meant to be changing the skin barrier, and she wasn't doing it correctly. I had someone call me and say she weren't coming, and BrightStar said they couldn't have her do it.

The caregivers did not always show up, so they were unreliable. Over the time I had service, I only had two reliable aides. Danielle, one of the schedulers, excused my aide not coming because of the gas shortage. The aide herself told me that the company wanted her to go to another job. I knew my aide, and it was a bold faced lie.

The services are certainly a benefit to him and therefore to me. I am able to go shopping. We would recommend them, we have had three different caregivers and were very satisfied. However, we did have to loose a caregiver, and it wasn't Bright Star's fault, but mandatory inculcation for the caregivers wasn't possible at the time, and that was our only caveat because we had to lose a caregiver due to that.

They're very helpful. I'm well over 90 years old so anything helps. Every little bit helps me. It was adequate. I don't get around much anymore so I need at home arrangements. It's difficult to make arrangements, that's the biggest problem.

They have a few aides that are good. When they show up they do good most of the time. The new hire and the one that comes in the morning are good. Some caregivers complain about doing basic caregiver work. I would not recommend them. It's been off and on the whole time we've had them. It's a real nightmare. I was making calls again and then they hired a couple people.

When they get here, they need to know what they need to do for the patient. They should wash the laundry, no one has ever done that. They are supposed to change him in the bed and feed him. They need to show up on time, have people that show up, and they need to let us know if someone is not coming.

We are extremely pleased with the person they sent us, they are like family. I think the company just does not treat her as well. They are sporadic with their payrate and sporadic with the consistency of her pay. We have had the same personal care attendant since we started back in August of 2017. We love her and she is outstanding. She has taught him to do laundry.

I couldn't be there 24 hours a day in the nursing home. It gave me peace of mind knowing they would call me if they needed anything. They were able to pick up the service when I needed it immediately and were able to cover the very difficult times like weekends and nights.

I knew the aide was with my husband and that he was safe and secure, but I could not pay for full-time care and that is when he would tend to have falls. They were thorough in the preliminary set up of the care, and they strive to get him on a regular schedule with consistent.

The caregiver comes seems to be very well trained and knowledgeable. There is a little miscommunication between the office and the caregiver that comes to see me. Occasionally, the caregiver will set up a time to come other than a day the office thinks they come on.

If they say they are going to send someone or call me if they couldn't send someone, they should actually do that. It caused me a lot of extra stress. They said that if they couldn't find someone to be with my mother, they would call me, but they didn't. One time, I came in and the CNA had my mother's bed lowered when she was trying to give her something to drink.

They took my loved one out to get coffee, and go to the store which he never got to do. They advocated at the nursing home he was at and they mad sure they knew of the things he needed. They were dependable and if they ever had to change a date or something, they did so with plenty of notice.

I have somebody coming in twice a week from BrightStar Care of Charlottesville for my wife. They come in and give her a shower twice a week and clean her up. I chose them because I could afford them better than I could the others. They're friendly. The young lady comes around but sometimes circumstances prevent her from being on time, but not all the time. I'm happy with them.
