I've been using Home Helpers for my mother over the past year, and I can't express enough how grateful I am for the exceptional care they've provided. The caregivers are not only professional and skilled, but they genuinely care about my mother's well-being. From helping with daily tasks to simply spending time chatting with her, they’ve become like family to us. The communication with the office staff has been smooth and reassuring. They're always responsive to our needs and have been flexible in adjusting the care plan as my mother’s condition changed. It gives me peace of mind knowing she’s in good hands when I can’t be there. I highly recommend Home Helpers to anyone looking for compassionate, reliable, and professional home care services. They truly go above and beyond to ensure their clients are comfortable and well cared for.

Home Helpers of Knoxville has been there for me for the last several months. They have addressed every issue I requested. From helping with my personal needs to housekeeping. They have worked with the VA for me. Initially, they had a hard time placing a Home Helper with me due to my rural area I live in but within 1 week they had it covered. My helper never misses her shifts. She makes sure I do not miss my medical appointments. With Diabetes, Parkinson's, and using a walker as my medical conditions I am a handful, but my helper is always there. I would hesitate recommending Home Helpers of Knoxville for anyone in need of a home healthcare helper for their family member, they are the best! Jerry

This company and specifically my mother's caregiver have been life changers. We were exhausted trying to do everything on our own. Having someone come in to be with Mom, give her baths help with laundry and some of the housework, alleviates our burden and gives us time away to take care of other things. They let me know if anything is changing and suggest they send a replacement when Valerie isn't available. Sometimes our caregiver runs a little late but she always makes up the time. Brittney is very helpful with our billing questions and everyone else at the office are good to help with any requests or changes. I know that they truly care.

They are the worst people I've ever done business with! They forgot to give my father medicine on several occasions, only needed light cleaning couldn't seem to get that done either. Usually on their phones ( have cameras) always left early or arrived late. And you'd need not complain it does no good. VA needs to take them off their list if this is how they take care of Veterans... even had a caregiver that tested positive to Covid and they never even called me, the lady text me a week later or i would have never known! SHAME ON YOU

Would not recommend to anyone is not reliable have more clients than people working for them. And they hire anyone to look after your loved ones . out of a whole month had 5 people show up 5 times. I also repoted to the va and better business . If you care for your loved ones stay away from this place

The worst service ever. I only used them because they were listed on UnitedHealthcare site as a discount partner. They sent me someone that complained about herself and how poor she was and she needed money. I used them twice because I had procedures back to back. The second time we used her car and it smelled like a cigarette and again she practically asked me for money and told me all of her problems. Then I was overcharged, called to complain and pretty much I was told just pay the bill.

We've used Home Helpers for a couple of months now for my in-laws. They come in for three hours in the morning and three hours in the evening, and they change their clothes, feed them, and do a little house cleaning. The manager agreed to meet me, talked to me, and interviewed the people that will go to the house. We met them, went over and met my in-laws, and no other agency did that. The caregivers were pretty good.

They were fine for several years but recently they have become very undependable. Don't make any plans to leave or make appts for yourself because they may or may not show up and you never know who it will be. They have treated us as 2nd class because their payments are from the VA and they make more money from other companies. We have a beautiful home and my Dad has a lot of medical issues but doesn't require a lot of personal care. It is very hard to be a 24/7 caretaker and not be able to depend on help showing up. I think it is a real shame to treat anyone like this not to mention a vet. I am changing companies ASAP.

I have been using Home Helpers, and they provide somebody from 8:00 in the morning until 5:00 in the evening to help me not lose my balance and fall. They'll cook and clean the house, do laundry, washing, and provide vacuum cleaning. The one that comes from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. is just like a family member. She would do anything for me, and she calls during the day to see how we are. The one that comes from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. has a harsh tongue and attitude. Another works on the weekends for 12 hours on Saturday and 12 hours on Sunday. The man that runs the company likes to sit and talk with me, and he is coming next week. The caregiver that came on the weekend did a very good and thorough job cleaning my house -- better than anybody else . Another one seemed moody and detached and just sat in the rocker and did not take care of me like she should to keep me from falling. And if somebody can't come like on a weekend, they don't have anybody else that they can send out to help.

It's been a month now since we are using Home Helpers of East Tennessee services. Their caregivers are doing a fine job for my husband who has Parkinson's. They are really good, but I guess they just need more skills. Some can cook, but some don't; otherwise they are good.
