My brother was a client of Brightstar for approx. 10 months and was treated with a good mixture of competent care, compassion and friendliness. He always looked forward to the next day's/current day's visit. Can';t remember an occasion where the Brightstar aid failed my brother in any facet of his care.

They were reliable, when they said they would send somebody, there was somebody there. I couldn't have functioned without them there.

They could hire better people. They could have better communication with me. They don't communicate very well.

My caregiver is my family member and so they make it very easy to work with them. It is easy to do, even though the communication is difficult. I am unable to clean and be on my feet. She is able to cook, clean, and do other things for me.

They're very caring and friendly, and they'll do anything I need. They encourage me.

They can improve by training their caregivers better with a broader perspective in health care, especially with a critical care client. They do try hard to make sure that I'm covered. I can start my day and conclude the day as I like to and they help me do that.

They are good to me. I have recommended them to somebody. They take me to the doctor, which I can't do by myself. It allows me to stay in my house and be taken care off.

The agency was able to find a caregiver when it was difficult to find someone. The only lack of service that I had was that they couldn't find all of the help that we needed at first. The people that the agency sent over did a good job with doing whatever house work we had to do.

BrightStar Care is really courteous and knowledgeable with my needs. They have a replacement if my caregiver cannot come in. They are real nice with me and the communication is really good with them. I have not had a problem with them. They send caregivers to help me with my day to day needs.

They are taking away hours from my loved one. They send people she doesn't know and she gets frustrated. It would a big difference if they had a little more organization in the office and they followed up to see if caregivers were going. It has helped her physical needs. There are a lot of things that she physically can't do, and they do those things for her.

They are punctual when they come, and they do what they are asked. They do the work that is asked of them. It helps me because then I can get things done that I wouldn't normally be able to do.

They promised me that I would have a replacement caregiver would come but I don't know about that. They need to get themselves together. If they would listen better, the caregiver needs to leave. They've been promising me things, but nothing's getting done.

The caregiver that we have is really good. He informed the office three weeks ago that he was going to be off today but they did not schedule another caretaker and when I called them to ask them if we had a caregiver coming today, they told us that our main caregiver was supposed to be there. We had her go look through the records and she saw that he dd request it off and said that someone could be there in the afternoon. We need someone to take care of my father in the morning. It is a good thing that my brother is here from Texas, but he did not plan on having to take care of my father while he was here. The main caregiver is a very good caregiver. Other than that, they cause a lot of aggravation.

The caregivers are pretty good and on time. They are not late like the first caregiver was. The caregivers do things for me that I can't do.

BrightStar Care is a great company. They accommodate all the requirements that my mom has. My mom is very disabled, and my family needs to continue with their jobs. We have peace of mind.

I still don't have a permanent caregiver. They cant seem to find anyone to come and take care of me. My caregiver helps me with a lot of tasks in the home that I have trouble doing like laundry, housework, and cooking meals sometimes.

They always seem to have someone available, I just wish the communication was a little better. They are there. My loved one better cooperates with a stranger than with family.

BrightStar Care really cares about their clients and makes sure everyone is taken care of. My loved one has had several opportunities opened up for him now through BrightStar Care that we didn't have before.

The case workers are always calling to see how I am and how the caregivers are. The caregivers cook and change the sheets on my bed.

They made sure that I ate and that everything got done in the house. Mostly they helped me get my house straightened up because I couldn't walk and that I ate right.

The caregiver from last week had bronchitis and she sat down, fixed something to eat for herself, and took a nap. I asked her to go home because it seemed like she was out of it. Some of the caregivers do a great job while others are lackadaisical. They have a lot of trainees and new people that come in and then they leave so when the employees aren't trained, it makes it really tough.

The people in the offices are certified idiots. For the third time last week, we got a letter from our insurance showing us that because of poor communication, they were going to discontinue our claim. My husband played tag with people on the phone for the rest of the week. Finally this week, they claim it's been resolved. He was told it was. They help keep the dishes done, and that sort of thing. They will do whatever I ask them to do.

The caregiver that comes here works for BrightStar walks down the lane because it drifts up some time. She cooks, cleans, and keeps the house dusted up.

The people that they are sending to me are hired right off the street. They hire them, and the next day they start working for me. They could come through with what they promise. They hire somebody and they tell me that they're going to get somebody to start the next week, and then they call me the day before and tell me that they're not coming at all. They called, and they quit.

They can't always find caregivers to fill in. They don't call to communicate that. I'm supposed to avoid stress and the lack of communication adds to my stress.

I would tell someone that if they get the right caregiver, then things are great. The services have a good impact just because the caregivers are there and helping me with daily things.

I would recommend BrightStar Care because the caregivers do so much for me. I appreciate that the caregivers from BrightStar Care help me with bathing and getting out of the home to run errands.

I do not think that the aides are happy with their job because they work a lot of hours. I do not like to have a lot of different people working for me, and I would like to just have one caregiver. BrightStar Care has had a positive impact on my life by having aides who are just great. They help me with the things that I have trouble getting done for myself.

BrightStar Care is amazing because they really, truly care for the client. The client comes first and they do get the best caregiver or nurse or whatever is necessary to meet my needs. I cannot ask for anything more than BrightStar Care provides. I don't know what I would do without my caregiver from BrightStar Care.

I would tell someone that BrightStar Care has a good and knowledgeable staff. They chose wisely the caregivers that are with my father. BrightStar Care is there at night for my father and it helps my mom in the evening the most.

BrightStar Care could have better caregivers and have a more helpful office staff. BrightStar Care could have made my life easier if they would have done what we would have asked.

BrightStar Care can improve by getting rid of the entire office crew, and hire a new bunch. BrightStar Care is good when they have caregivers to come out, but that's the problem. They don't always have people to come out.

BrightStar Care should have a better set up for scheduling because sometimes people don't show up and there are no substitutes sometimes. BrightStar Care has good care, but my loved one gets frustrated because they are strangers to her.

I would tell a friend that BrightStar Care is a great company and they manage the caregivers very well. BrightStar Care caregivers took good care of my mother. BrightStar Care gives my mom comfort, makes sure she's clean, and really takes good care of her.

There is an office staff member who doesn't call me when my caregiver is going to be gone. The most helpful aspect of my services is the help I get cleaning things up.

I went with Companion Care because I work at the 9 11th Air Force base, and there was a lady there who knew someone who was starting up her own elder care business. I interviewed with her, she seemed very nice, and she has been great.
