Margret J. Thomas Inpatient Care Center was generally fantastic. Once we decided to transition from the hospital, they were super helpful in trying to listen to what my dad wanted. They also trained me and helped me understand what to expect, how to care for his body physically, how to listen to him emotionally, and how to attend to many of his needs. It was extraordinary. They also offer decent food service. My dad wasn't eating a lot, but they were trying to get him to eat as much as possible. I was flabbergasted at how beautiful the rooms and grounds were. All the rooms had huge bay windows that looked out on beautiful landscaping that open if you want them to. It was lovely.

My uncle is in Hospice of Cincinnati, and I think they are doing a great job, especially the lady who works with him. She is just terrific. We frequently talk to the nurse. The staff comes frequently. The volunteers come. My uncle is very receptive to all of the staff. The room is fine. We are there every day, and everything is good.

We are using Hospice of Cincinnati for my husband for three years now. We choose them because they are close by and because of their reputation. They are able to provide a good fit for my husband right away. They are joyful providers. They do what they say. They are always prompt and accommodating. The caregivers know what they are doing. They teach what to do to take care of him and they do it willingly with very great and respectful attitude. My husband is comfortable with them.

Be careful when you ask Hospice to ge involved. My loved one received Hospice outpatient care while she was in a nursing home. I feel they prepare the person to die. That is their main goal. They do not assist in helping your loved one live a little bit longer. The kept increasing my loved ones medication to the point that the last 2 weeks of her life, she was basically in a coma state. Never would wake up to know I was there. So sad. I will never use Hospice care ever again. Of course, I have heard it depends on what state you are getting the Hospice treatment.

They were okay when my mom was there for 6 months. However, they didn't show any compassion and didn't call us after she died.

My mother-in-law was a resident of Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash,Ohio for several month's and passed away there. They were so caring and wonderful to her and really helped the family as well to understand what was happening as the disease progressed. I would recommend this facility to everyone.

Excellent hospice care whether inpatient at their 40 bed facility or outpatient at home or at a facility. Expert and skilled staff including nursing, pharmacy, medical director, and ancillary, one of the largest and best in the midwest. I've had family and friends receive care at HOC over several decades since 1986 when I moved to Cincinnati. I only wish I still lived in Cincinnati! Their website is informative and helpful, HOC originated in the 1970's and is one of the best in the nation.
