Home Helpers Home Care is fantastic! They searched tirelessly for the perfect companion for my 85 year old mother, until they found the perfect fit. My mother was very apprehensive a first, but now she has developed a true friendship with her helper. It's given me piece of mind when I'm away from the house to know she is in good hands. And when I need to travel, Home Helpers is incredibly flexible making sure her helper can check on her each day and ensure she has everything she needs. What a life saver! They have helped the most with companionship and interaction. They keep her mentally active, which is important. They are incredibly thorough in the interviewing and vetting process for the caregivers. They found exactly the right person and worked very hard to find a perfect fit for our family. They are also very responsive when we need to change the schedule last minute. They are flexible and accommodating.

Home Helpers of Raleigh has assisted us in caring for our family members, first our father, then mother after he passed away. They have been very responsive to our ever-changing needs and requests over the years and worked diligently to meet the desires of our family members in a respectful and caring way. They sought to find a caregiver that was a good match with the personalities and care needs of our family, and they check in to see if any needs have changed. They show genuine concern for the well-being of their clients. We are appreciative of the care they give our family and thus enabling them to stay in their home!

Home Helpers Home Care has been wonderful with helping our family and our rapidly changing needs. Initially the need was small, to help my dad care for my mom who has dementia. Unfortunately dad was diagnosed with rapid onset dementia so the need for care increased dramatically and suddenly. Lara and Danielle were our primary care givers. They felt like members of our family from day one. Trusting someone with your beloved parents with aging-related health issues is a very serious thing and we could not have made a better choice. We literally put our parent’s lives in their hands. And we needed someone competent, empathetic and proactive. Lara and Danielle fit all of those categories and more. The best example is that when dad was hospitalized, the caretaker that evening brought mom to the hospital to see him. Lara went out of her way to come from her home on her day off to be with them. That was so meaningful and important, we wound up putting Lara and Danielle in Dad’s funeral program. I think that says it all! Little did we know he would pass later that night so without that moment, mom and dad wouldn’t have had a final moment together.
