I have used Aging at Home for my dad for a few years now. The aide I have for him is like a brother to me and he loves my dad. I am truly blessed to have him and the people at this agency are wonderful people. The agency also took care of my aunt for 5 years and my aunt was very happy as well. From my heart I want to thank Aging at home for allowing me to sleep better at night knowing my Dad is being taken care of

We hired this agency with hope that my father in law would have a caring aide to take care of all his needs. We were told they would do light housework, laundry and cook. We had a tenant who used to cook and clean for my in-laws shoe him around as we live an hour away. Well he jyst stood there while she did everything. He didn't know how to cook or use stove! He said he only cooked Filipino food. He called agency cause he said he couldn't transfer my FIL by himself. They sent another aide who helped a little . the agency informed me they would drop case if we didn't hire two aides. We felt we were forced to do so as we needed someone. They didn't cook, clean or even put garbage out. Sat around in between caring for him. A third had was pretty good, I must say, but complained right from start about food in house she didn't Like cause she is picky. We said we would give allowance. Well at the end we paid total of 2000 for one week and now we are looking for a facility cause my FIL was so upset with this situation. All I can say is this place should be shut down. All these aides were of small stature and did not live up the tasks at hand. NG

This agency was horrible! In six months I had 4 aides. They work 2 months then leave you with some raunchy looking aides. 3 of them all had the same excuse, emergency in Philippines? First aide had no TLC for my 85 year old Dad! She was mean n made sure she had her meals. my Dad was miserable with her. Then she was replaced by a male who never followed instructions n dirty. The agency will claim they have no replacements when inquired where do they get these aides. Go elsewhere! Pay a little more, but a tremendous difference.

Aging At Home was recommended by an attorney. It seems to be working out very well. So far, I haven't had any problems with them. The service is very good, and scheduling and billing seem to be OK. We've been using them for about two months now.

I was not happy with the agency for my mother. I came to find out after they started that they are NOT a licensed home care agency in New York State. They take no responsibility if anything happens to your loved one. They are strictly a go between and all they do is take your money every two weeks. They make it sound legitimate by telling you they report to Department of Labor. Big woop, educate yourself before hiring this company

The Aide that provided care when my father was in home hospice was professional, respectful, knowledgable, and extremely compassionate. Not only did he provide my father with excellent care during his last days....he also helped my 81 year old mother tremendously.. He was truly a caring, comforting and professional presence to the whole family.. Aging at Home responded to our needs promptly and this agency and the Aide they sent us were truly a blessing .

My mom, whom you cared for and I were very pleased with the way the ladies took care of my mom for her last 18 months of life. Tess was respectful , loving and capable. Although my mom was not happy in the beginning to have someone live with her , she grew to feel Tess was like family.

Very happy with the provider.. Office staff appears to be very poorly trained.

Very conscientious and thoughtful folks, every single one of them. My Dad used another agency prior to this that charged similar prices. The difference was, Aging at Home's aides were on their way UP: they were usually RNs in the Philippines who moved here to work toward becoming RN certification in the US. The other agency primarily offered aides who weren't interested in much more than feeding and cleaning up after Dad and watching his TV.

Just a warning -Aging at Home is a referral service, not a licensed home health care agency. They do not vet their referrals. It is up to the person using the hiree to ask if they are licensed or certified.

The loving care and concern provided by Mom's caregiver from Aging At Home was priceless! Her caregiver became a daughter to Mom, a sister to us. She provided Mom with a safe, clean, pleasant, upbeat environment and Mom was at home! I can't thank Aging At Home for sending us the right person for our beloved Mother! We would find Mom participating with a short song, a funny story, a bit of exercise, sometimes a walk - just wonderful!

The carer that we got from this agency is rude, spoke poor english and not reliable at all. the high agency fee is not commensurate to the services provided.

This agency has a lot of Filipino caregivers. They are proficient in English language, and ,most of them are highly educated from the Philippines, who are now US resident or US citizen. Some of the younger caregivers are in fact nursing graduates back home, waiting for their NCLEX exams here. One can always find somebody that will be a good fit for the patient. I never have any complaint and the agency is highly recommended, My father-in-law is well taken care of and happy.
