They are very personable so I like that and they try really hard to fill out all the shifts they have. They do try to go out of their way to help out and meet my needs. I would recommend them but I don't find the staffing, they have two types, to be on par with the standards they preach or with what their programs offer. It all depends on who they send to us, as on an occasion they will send someone not so great.

I am saying that because my daughter and I are here, and we see what happens. He doesn't care to get out of the bed, and Bonnie gets him up and showered. It's wonderful that she motivates him. She gives him his breakfast as well. They are always on time, and very good with my husband. He is also very comfortable with them. I had worried about that at first, and they are very helpful to me.

I think the person we have is perfectly fine. I think that it's very clear what she does and doesn't do according to what the agency wants. She had a different experience with private care. It was like she had a family member taking care of her. It's a little less personal with Visiting Angels, because they are a firm and have a different policy. We are generally happy. I think, because it's a service, and it's not private. It's managed online, there's a portal, and I get alerts. The communication is good, and it makes it convenient.

She helps me on the phone when talking to people since I cannot hear them well and need a hearing aide and do not always have them on. What I need is someone to answer for me. They sent people and did not let people know that they were not needed at that time. They had people coming in when they already had somebody here. I felt bad for the girl that came, but I knew I had nothing to do about it. I have a girl that stays all week now.

I had an interview with Visiting Angels and I liked what they said, so I hired them for my daughter's needs. They were able to provide a caregiver right away. They did exactly what they had to do. The caregivers were kind, great and did everything they could to make the patient better. We used them for about a month. Although, it would be better if they had more employees.
