Home Instead is wonderful. We've been pleased with it. We've had them now for three or four years. They're great. They give us four hours a day of in-home care. I kind of went out and talked around when my husband was hospitalized. I kind of got some impressions from some other folks about who to avoid and who would be a good choice and so we tried them first. I'm glad because they're terrific. Our experience with Homestead has been a five-star. We're on a regular schedule. It never changes. The people who work with us are flexible. If we need to add hours, I talk to them first to see if they would be willing to do it before I call Home Instead. Whatever their staff says, it's OK for them. They're worth it to me. We have had several nursing assistants over the time that we've had them and only one time, we had someone that we didn't think was appropriate for us, but by the time I called them, they had already gotten rid of that person. Otherwise, we have had nothing but good people in here.

My caretaker works for Home Instead. They have been my caretakers for my mother for the last year and a half. Angie is above and beyond. My mother loves her. She cares for her. She conversates with her. My mom is on hospice now and that means a lot to me that I have a peace of mind. I found them online, and they had five stars. The caretaker is an elderly lady, but she gets there every morning at 8:00. She has a good rapport with my mom. If I need something done or anything like that, she just jumps at the chance to help out in any way. They're 100% caring about the individuals and they're very flexible. I don't have to worry that someone's not going to be there for my mom. Any time that the caretaker had an emergency or something, they had backup. Whether it be a supervisor or another care team, they were always there. I never had an issue where there was no one there to care for my mother. Pricing is normal for this area. It's worth it. Communication between me and this agency is 100%. I can call them at any time of the day and they respond. I'm 100% satisfied with everything, and especially with the caretaker that they assigned for me.

We appreciate that she helps get the mail and takes our mother to facility activities. Susan is very caring and takes good care of our mother.

My husband has been using Home Instead for over a year now. They're very kind, compassionate, dependable, and always on time, but when the person that he normally has coming into the house isn't available, they get somebody else to come in. They're flexible that way. They're knowledgeable about what he might need. They provide personal assistance with shower and bathing. They drive him to the senior center and stay with him there because that's what he needs and that has given him good socialization with others. She gets him over there safely and stay there and then come back after lunch is over. Our caregiver's name is Ashley and she's kind, compassionate, and very experienced. She's younger, but she's just so knowledgeable. Apparently, she's been doing this for years. She's very kind, which is very important, the combination of experience and then just working so well one-on-one with my husband. She seems to listen to him. When the owner came in and presented what they could do and how they operate, that was it. They were the only one and that's been a good choice. I had had a trip to the emergency room myself last 4th of July weekend and was kept at the hospital, and they sent someone to stay with him that night. That's how responsive Home Instead has been to our needs. It's like, "We're there for you." The other people that came from Home Instead besides Ashley (when she couldn't be here) have been just absolutely wonderful. They're screened very, very carefully. It's all good.

I'm a current client of Home Instead - Liberty, MO. I have a wonderful lady, Anna, that takes care of me. She does the laundry and makes the bed and stuff like that. She also gives me a shower. I use them three times a week. Scheduling is OK.

We currently have a home care provider from Home Instead, and she is helping my husband. They're excellent. They respond to any questions we have and they have given us the best provider that they possibly could. We just love her. Her name is Renee and if she isn't here, he doesn't do much. He's older and he just sits in a chair, but when she comes, she gets him walking and exercising. She does memory games with him and she fixes him a nice breakfast. She comes three days a week. I just can't say enough good things about Renee. She's always on time. She's very personable and caring and always has a positive attitude. We're just very lucky to have her.

Our main caregiver is Leanne and she is awesome. First she is always on time, she takes great care of my wife and she has a lots of common sense. She communicates well with both my wife and I. Leanne is a dedicated and hard worker.

We are so pleased with our caregiver Susie. Susie is on-time, pleasant, communicative and is beyond patient and caring with Mom. Susie is here 5 hours a day, 5 days a week which allows my husband and I to take care of things around her home that desperately need done, as well as get a break from the daily stress of caring for a parent with dementia. The Liberty office calls promptly to let us know if our caregiver is unable to come in for some reason and offers to try to find another caregiver to fill-in, if we wish. Overall a very good experience.

They provide a caregiver 4 hours 7 days a week. They are here when expected and the length of time expected. We have great rapore with them and we consider them family. When we have to change times for outside appointments they work with us and find replacements when our regular nurses must be absent. They are wonderful to work with and very helpful. We have a person from Home Instead coming in one day a week, and so far we have had a good experience. The owner came and talked to us; we were impressed. This is all we need right now. She gives my mother-in-law a bath, washes her hair, does some vacuuming, and dusts. She makes sure that she is on schedule with her medication, but she is here for 3 hours, so she does not really do too much of that.

The first time I ever called Home Instead to inquire about in-home care for my parents, I actually spoke with the director who was able to explain what is covered and not covered by Medicare. He also pointed me in the direction we needed to look for assistance. I found the organization as a whole extremely resourceful. My Dad's caregiver, Marilyn found Dad crying "HELP" but she couldn't get in the house. I was out of touch so she called 911-they entered thru the bedroom window and took Dad to the hospital. Marilyn stayed with Dad at the hospital until I got the message and arrived. I and my family are so very thanksful for all Marilyn did for Dad. He so enjoyed her companionship.
