It is good to know I have someone to drive me places. If something happened to me my caregiver would be able to call the person responsible to come get my dogs. I have an aide that knows how to drive and has helped me with some technical things.

They help most by being available. We have recommended them to several people already. We have been with them for a couple of years now and my wife as well. They are responsive to everything we ask and they have stepped out and done whatever is necessary.

The provider has provided engagement for my mom and relief for my dad. They are very responsive and I know that my parents really like the caregiver they were matched with. They provide a guarantee that if a caregiver is not a good fit they will keep trying until they get it right.

The kind of person that is here with us has helped me the most. I would recommend it to some other people, but not all of them. Some people probably need more input from doctors and nurses than what BrightStar does. Others don't need as much as that.

Just knowing that they are there helps me. I live in a totally different state. I know I can depend on them. If there is a problem with someone not being there they will call me. I like that they take my input when I talk to the supervisor when they schedule us for hourly shifts. I had a problem with someone and made sure that they never came over again.

Any problems with the agency were with my loved one. When he had a caregiver he liked, it worked, and vice versa with who he didn't like. He wasn't receptive, and it wasn't their fault. I don't have enough depth of information. It was such a short period of time for me to recommend them.

She needs somebody to stay with her when we have to call them. It is nice having someone in the house. They can let us know what is going on. The continuity of caregivers could improve. They were helpful, but I didn't need all the help they were providing. I had them preparing meals. I couldn't take baths, so they would pour some water and have a soap solution in there for me. The agency is how she was able to stay home. I've recommended people to BrightStar Care. The people and availability have impressed me. They can have a greater impact by providing employees that are comfortable doing basic care and don't cause problems. They should provide caregivers who will show up when they say they will. One person that was their best caregiver is no longer with them because they don't treat their employees well. They are unorganized and don't care. They need to improve their schedule for employees. There were times when they would send new people out at times I didn't request. Some don't know how to use a wood stove, and I worried that they would burn my house down. I think they provide very good, quality care. I felt more secure leaving the house with someone being with my loved one. I thought they were excellent and most of the people that they sent us were very good.

The caregivers seemed to be able to care for my wife single-handedly so that I could do other things. Their service was excellent but they were a little pricey. The caregivers were knowledgeable and very caring.

I think it's the patient's mindset. If it were up to her I'd be here around the clock and never leave. They're Joint Commission certified and other agencies aren't.

They're efficient, caring, and they work hard. They come in twice a week and they give me comfort. I'm pretty much disabled and I depend on their help. It's not very often, but it's important to me.

They need to keep me with the caregiver that they start me with. The people that have been here have been good though. I think if we could afford to do more it might make it a little better but she needs more than a couple days a week and needs someone that she really trusts.

I had 8 different people, and I didn't like that, but that problem was resolved. I do not need that much help. I am still able to do a lot of things myself.

There was a time when the caregiver left when she wasn't supposed to, and she left my mother, who has Alzheimer's, alone. There was an error with medication, but the agency just blew it off. They didn't reimburse us or talk to us about it, so I was very upset. They didn't seem apologetic.

BrightStar Care was very responsive to my needs, especially given it was right around the Christmas holidays. They did everything they could. My husband couldn't walk and I couldn't move him in bed very easily because I have a sore back. BrightStar Care made it a lot easier for me.

I would tell others that BrightStar Care has a well-organized system. The response we had has been very positive. The caregivers that have been sent to us have represented the company very well. There's not much that BrightStar Care can do for their employees. The impact is determined by my loved one.

I like the caregivers. They are very tentative with my aunt. They are friendly and cooperative. They step out of their comfort zone to help out. We have the same caregiver during each shift Monday through Friday. It helps my aunt to relax and not see a different caregiver.

For one thing, they have good people who come to help me. They know what they are doing and fill me in on what they are doing and why. The person who helps me shower, shampoo and curl my hair just brightens my day and helps my attitude very much.

I have no reason not to recommend them. They're clean-cut and get the job done. They don't mess around. They do my thinking for me. They take all the guesswork out of the business of living.

I like the caregiver that they provided for me. I know I could go find someone else to do the job but I choose to stay with them because of my caregiver. They do everything I need; for example, they go shopping and do the cleaning and the wash. Whatever I need done, they are willing to do it an do a good job.

BrightStar Care has done a good job. I wish all the caregivers would be better trained on how to work with people with dementia. The caregiver is good at keeping my loved one calm.

BrightStar Care had caregivers that were ready to help whenever we needed them to. BrightStar Care didn't pass down the notes that they collected regarding my mother to the caregivers that were caring for her. They should have passed the notes down in order to ensure a good match for my mother.

BrightStar Care will bend over backwards to accommodate me. As far as matching caregivers that fit with my needs. They will accommodate with payment methods. They are still working out the kinks. I was not a huge fan of the care notes. I do not give a 10 because of the staffing challenges.

I would not recommend BrightStar Care because their caregivers have stolen from my loved one. BrightStar Care makes life easier when they are being dependable, but not when they are falling asleep at night.

My hesitation in recommending BrightStar Care is because I needed two people with them, and there was only one constant. I had help getting my loved one out of the shower and taking him to the restroom, so that took a load off my mind. I could go to work every afternoon.

BrightStar Care has some great employees, but I don't have any control on what caregiver I see. Some of them need help with training. BrightStar Care does a good job at making life easier because they fix my meals and drive me to appointments.
