Professional construction services, which are provided by qualified and licensed local professional contractors, are mostly directed toward improving safety and accessibility inside the home. Covered services include:

- Electrical work to eliminate hazards and improve efficiency
- HVAC installation, inspection and repair of dicts, furnaces and air condensers

Services include a food bank operated by Episcopal Retirement Services, as well as at-home meal delivery. Seniors in Fairfield can get up to 30% off of their monthly home energy bills by signing up with the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) through the Hamilton branch of Supports to Encourage Low-Income Families (SELF). SELF also helps seniors find and schedule low-cost and free home weatherization services, as well as providing a one-time direct payment of overdue electrical and gas utility bills to avoid disconnections. SELF services are open to all seniors in Butler County who meet the program’s income and asset limits, though emergency funds can be limited.
