The nurse who did the evaluation was precious and a doll. We loved her. All the employees I worked with before getting a caregiver were so professional.

Our caregiver comes once a week and provides personal care. They had some hiring challenges and finding people who were able to care for her. They weren't always reliable at first. Our caregiver now is wonderful.

She liked it, she used them in other states and she liked them then as well. They had good people that came out and they were on time. I would recommend BrightStar to others because the people they sent over were good. They were attentive and did a good job.

They helped with her bathing, and the fact that there was another person in the house helped a lot. My mother didn't want to pay for a lot of hours, and BrightStar offered two-hour shifts.

They could provide me with staff for the hours that I need: the VA pays for services, but he can't do anything. They pay for 13 hours a week, and I have not had 13 hours since I've had them, I've only had 4 hours. The people I talk to are nice and honest but they don't have the staff I need. The VA is unhappy with the number of hours I need. He is trying to get me to get 20 hours approved but I can't get 13 hours of service. They are not able to provide me with the coverage I need.

Just being there and taking care of him was the most helpful. There was a time before he had help when he ended up outside in the middle of the street, and we got a call from the police. They were very caring and very nice.

She loves the caregiver she has, Andrea. Mom would like to walk more is the only thing. I like that they are flexible and the care that mom has gotten, she loves.

It was excellent because I felt absolutely comfortable with them. I liked that the women who came to provide the care were not immature. They were not youngsters, they were women. They knew how to be present with somebody without being in the way or interfering.

The service helps me. I don't know if the client appreciates it. The services give me the opportunity to cover doctor appointments and make appointments I wouldn't be able to do. I like that BrightStar has been able to cover my dates, which have been sporadic.

They're only there one day a week - so helpful, but I wouldn't say impactful. I have had constant turnover. I get someone out there, and they're out there a few weeks, and they're gone.

I wish they could be better trained in stroke survivors care. They need more training in transferring and they need to be able to work with her delusions. I would like them to have more caregivers so they can staff properly. We have a lot of issues getting caregivers here.

It keeps us from having to be tied down. They can just keep the schedules complete. I understand it is hard with COVID and it has gotten a bit better. There have been a little bit of mix up. There have been issues with scheduling. Now it has been straightened out and we haven't had any issues.

More than anything, they are caring for both my mother-in-law and father-in-law. They are both in hospice care. The company has satisfied us with the people we have dealt with. from the owner down to the caregivers. We have 24 hour care so we have had a lot of great care.

There was a nurse who knew my wife and had previously worked with my wife at the hospital, and he was a super nice guy. I have a lot in common with Tim. They were good, but they just couldn't get things straightened out. The person would leave early, and they would send people who had no training. Monday just got to be a time I dreaded.

They can't improve anything of significance. The main thing they could do differently would be to let us know ahead of time when a caregiver is going to be absent and have a replacement when the caregiver will be absent.

It makes all the difference in the world. They allowed us to go get medications from the pharmacy, and it gave us a respite, just being able to rest and do things we needed. She actually passed away after a surgery, and my father-in-law didn't call BrightStar Care, and if he had, she probably wouldn't have passed. They are easy to work with, they have a great staff, and they are knowledgeable.

My husband is a large man. I did not get to meet the girl beforehand but she did not have enough strength to take care of my husband. She was watching him while he fell in the shower.
