He gets up in the morning, and we hobble around, and he is very positive. He looks forward to seeing the caregiver. If she has any spare time, she and bob cook together. They trade recipes, they teach the other some of their dishes. Our caregiver is on time every time. She starts breakfast, and then she gets busy cleaning this house. If he needs anything done inside and outside, even taking him to the grocery store. She does everything meticulously without complaining.

I'm using Visiting Angels. The person that they sent out was very caring and knowledgeable, and very helpful to my parents. She was always on time and was ready to help with whatever we needed. Services include preparing food, helping Mom get dressed, and driving Dad. Also, she's been doing some cleaning, which is greatly needed, and I appreciate that too. I went with them because it's local and I've had some experience with them with other families. They have a good reputation and they're trustworthy. The caregiver is a blessing. She has been a godsend to us. She always asks if there's anything that needs to be done. She also alerted me to my dad wheezing. She kept a log that I could keep so I would know what was going on while I wasn't there. She was very prompt and very knowledgeable on how to help my dad. They sent me a schedule online, which was very helpful, and gave me a call person. The other thing is they have a 24-hour call center so if I ever needed anything else, I could call properly and make changes to the situation if I needed to.

She comes 3 times a week. Those 4 hours are filled with everything like grocery shopping, taking me to doctor appointments, dusting, and she is right there. I like that anytime I have a question, they are right there to answer or to call me back. If I feel I need extra help, Francesa will drive over here to the house and they are very helpful.
