The case manager could have found someone that he got along with better. It took him awhile to get him someone he liked. There were personality conflicts with the new case manager. They were struggling to find him a caregiver. It was miserable after the new case manager. It's a great service, but you have to be careful about who you get. You have to get someone who is willing to work with different people.

I know they help people take showers, but my loved one is a little reluctant to take showers so I think they could be a little more positive about her taking a shower. They're very punctual and helpful.

It's refreshing for her to have someone to come in and take care of her aside from me. The caregiver has an easier time getting my mom into the shower than I do. The supervisor that comes by and checks on our progress and how my mother is doing is very helpful. She noticed my mom's ankles were swollen and helped us work with getting her ankles back in shape with suggestions.

They are organized and show up and call if there any issues. We had one person start but they switched because she quit. We don't have to provide meals and they handle the shift.

My mom is 97 years old and needs a lot of help, so having them come means I get a break. It is crucial for me. I would have them come every day if I could.

Visiting Angels has some very good caregivers, and they sort through them very well. We have had two that did not work out due to allergies, and Visiting Angels made the change with no problem. The people at the office know us individually. The caregivers keep their mouths shut.

They were very friendly to work with, both the office and the caregivers. They worked their best to make sure they had someone here every day they were scheduled. I just could not have helped him on my own. They showered and dressed him. He could do some things, but he needed help with things like getting to the toilet and back. They also helped me with some other things in the kitchen, doing dishes and laundry, and other general help.

My caregiver is a wonderful caregiver that has come, we are friends, and we are able to walk around Target with each other. She watches very carefully how I am walking with my walker. She is a gift to me. It is totally different. I am disabled, and my caregiver is able to come in and clean up for me.

I am getting better, but my Visiting Angels caregiver still helps prepare meals for me. My caregiver does some cleaning for me and helps me organize what I need from the grocery store. She also assists me with my medications.
