Beautiful community with water views but most of all the staff were amazing. They cared for my Aunt like she was their own family. Nursing and Administration were so attentive and reliable.

The rooms are nice, clean and spacious. The food is inadequate. Not very appetizing. Most of the staff is rude and doesn't like to communicate with you. They don't like advice when trying to give some to help with the residents. The residents get left alone in the rooms for hours before someone will check on them, unless the resident is able to hit the button, which is not always in reach. Residents don't get changed in reasonable times. Definitely would have moved resident if had a choice. They don't do that many activities anymore, as they used to do a lot more.

While researching nursing home options for my aunt who has terminal cancer, I reached out to admissions for more information about this facility. Liz returned my call a few hours later. During our short conversation, I was interrupted repeatedly by Liz telling me to call back once the medicaid application was approved. I tried to explain the urgency of my aunts condition and that we were in the position to private pay until medicaid is approved, but she continued to interrupt me with requests to call back at a later time. I will not consider this facility an option for my loved one due to Liz' rudeness and lack of compassion during this difficult time.

My father loves Lourdes-Noreen McKeen. They have a chapel, bingo, ballroom, bar, barber shop, and a restaurant. They allow room service and have an outdoor swimming pool. The food is lovely.

Lourdes-Noreen McKeen was great and really terrific. The apartments were clean and beautiful; they faced the water and were great. The lady there was great. She was very nice and informative. There was a concert going on that afternoon. It was excellent. They have independent living, assisted living, and nursing areas.

At Lourdes-Noreen Mckeen, they have bingo, Bible studies, and exercise class. They serve three meals and give them snacks during the day. The staff is awesome, so kind, and so nice. I’m there usually twice a week, and I interact with all the nurses.

McKeen Towers is wonderful, the food was the first things that they offered; we had dinner there, and it was very good. My brother has Parkinson’s, he plays pool and other games, and they have a coffee klatch in the afternoon. They go out to lunch, and there were lots of activities. It’s probably one of the most expensive around, but I would say it’s perfect for what he was looking for. The residents seemed very happy and very active, they get dressed for dinner at night, and everybody seems to enjoy that. They have music during dinner; it's very pleasant, and it was a beautiful setting. It’s spotless, everybody seems to be happy, and my brother is happy and comfortable.

I went to visit Mckeen and it was a gorgeous place. It was very clean, but very expensive. There was no entertainment. They had all the patients out in the lounge area. All of them were asleep with their neck twisted, sitting on chairs. It was very depressing. I wouldn’t want to put my dad there because I wanted him to be entertained and to feel alive.

While searching for a place for my friend's mother to live, we visited the Lourdes Pavilion assisted living facility. The West Palm Beach region is a favorite of the family. We really liked the well-kept park setting because the outdoors have always been a big part of my friend's mother's life. The waterfront views were also very beautiful and comforting. The types of cultural outings and events offered suit her well. Seniors are treated to everything that the area has to offer, from beautiful beaches to fine and casual dining and many entertainment venues. A variety of fresh, healthy foods are offered and suit all dietary needs. We could see that the food was exceptionally well prepared and appetizing. Snacks are available all day every day. The rooms are all nicely sized and decorated. The staff and management are very accommodating and eager to make the residents and visiting families comfortable. Those who were not ambulatory seemed well-cared for. The residents are encouraged to enjoy physical activity as much as possible. They may take exercise classes such as yoga and aerobics, or use the weight training and other equipment. Every resident appeared to be very well cared for in a peaceful, yet fun environment by kind, caring and attentive staff.
