My mom is now at Ventana Winds. It's great. It is wonderful. They're very good. She has an apartment for a room, and it's great. Everybody is friendly. The staff are great, bubbly, and very attentive. I went there today to do her laundry, and they already did her laundry for her. The rooms are nice and roomy. I walked in there and I couldn't believe how big it was. My mom's bedroom is bigger than the bedroom in her trailer, and she got a nice-sized kitchen. The bathroom is nice and roomy. The food is fantastic. If you don't like anything on their menu, they have an alternative. They have peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and grilled cheese, but my mom usually eats what they offer. The dining area is very nice and organized. There are a bunch of round tables, and four people could sit at them. It's like a restaurant-style sitting. They come around, they take your order, and they go back and get your food and bring it back. Breakfasts are from 6:30 to 8:00, lunches are from 11:00 to 1:30, and dinners from 4:00 to 6:30. They have all sorts of activities going on which my mom doesn't participate in, but they have activities going on there. They have bingo for one. They have all sorts of different activities going on. I like the bingo. You get bingo bucks and what you do with those bingo bucks is you go into the bingo room or whatever it is, and you buy stuff with your bingo bucks like toothbrush and toothpaste, just stuff to use in your apartment. They have a movie theater, they have a beauty parlor, they have a rec room, and they have a place where they do puzzles. They have an extra room that's for a toilet and stuff like that, that is not in the apartment. I thought that was nice. They have laundry rooms at both ends of the aisle. The aisle that my mom is in has nine rooms, and I can take her laundry down there and have it done, and it doesn't cost anything to do her laundry. There's a nurse for each level, so there's a nurse that takes care of you. And they will take you to an appointment as long as is within 10 miles. Like my mom went to the hospital and they're in the process of setting up a checkup. They're going to call me and let me know what day to go there and meet her for her appointment and they're going to take her. I thought, 'This is nice.' The staff is fantastic there. They come in every day at night and pick up her garbage. They go through her garbage, which is nice. The food is great. The facility is nice. They even have a church that comes out to preach sermons to a bunch of people out there at the facility who can't go to the church. I thought, 'That is awesome.' I was there on a Sunday when they had it and it was awesome. It's well worth the money.

I toured Ventana Winds. It was very clean. I talked to the director over there, and, when I came in, everybody was eating, and the food smelled good. I didn't try the food or anything, but everybody was happy eating, and they were all out on the tables. Nobody was in their bedroom or anything. It had a nice library. They have very beautiful apartments. They have two different sizes of apartments. One has an extra room, like a den area. The other one has a kitchen, a patio, and a bedroom with a walk-in closet. They served three meals a day. Monica, the marketing director, was very personable. The building, it's like a resort apartment area, and it was just great. It was just like, going up into a nice apartment, and it was settled in a back neighborhood, like a suburban area. It wasn't very old.

They have the main entrance room, a porch, and a walk-in closet. They have a very big room and a very nice bathroom. The staff is wonderful. The dinners are very good.

I was at Ventana Winds for a year. It was OK. That was during the Coronavirus breakout, so it wasn't normal, but it was good. The staff was good. The accommodation that I had there was good. We had a two-bedroom for me and my wife. They had almost everything. They had some pretty good food, they had a good staff, and they had good follow-through. There were amenities, and they were kind of putting them to use. They were trying to do it without doing it too much. Overall, it was good. I would recommend it as a place to go and look at anyway. They were pretty good. The facility itself was a little confusing, it was three floors with a lot of rooms, but it was good.

My sisters stayed with Ventana Winds Retirement Home. The staff was extremely and exceptionally caring. They were just very, very good to my sister. She felt comfortable, even though it was traumatic relocating from an apartment where she had been for years to the facility. The staff was just marvelous. The majority of the time she spent there was during Covid, so it was very restricted. They tested and took care of them beautifully; nothing but good things. I never had a meal there, but she was quite content (which was surprising due to the nature of her dementia). They had a large gathering area. They brought musical programs in periodically. They had bingo. Their activities director did wonderful things with the residents in terms of making decorations for their doors and creating really interesting projects.

I'm very pleased with Ventana Winds. The food was good because it was served hot. Everybody was pleasant. The staff and residents seemed happy. The apartments were very large and roomy. The apartment was perfect for my husband. They have a beautiful library, too.

My nana currently lives at Ventana Winds and she really enjoys it there. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. We spent tireless hours looking for the perfect community and this was the best place by far. Very large apartments, huge walk-in closet and a nice size patio. I have never been in an assisted living befuthat smelled so clean. Lots of activities and entertainment to boot. They even have a happy hour. I would totally recommend this community to anyone looking. You will not be disappointed.

My mother is a resident of Ventana Winds. The experience is very good. They provide three meals a day, medication management, assistance with showering, and transportation to doctors' appointments. The cleanliness is very good too.

I used to live at Ventana Winds Retirement Home for 2 years. I had a lot of friends there. We were always busy there. They were always doing something and having trips going somewhere. You don’t just sit around in your room. They had a nice pool. It’s a very nice neighborhood. I had a 1-bedroom apartment. The staff was fantastic; I didn’t have any trouble with them.

Ventana Winds is a very old facility but it's very nice with good sanitation. They serve one meal a day -- either breakfast or lunch -- it's your own choice. They have private rooms; they have houses. You can choose no care, assisted care or full care. You can get a unit with a kitchen or without one, depending on what you choose. Housekeeping comes in and cleans up a little bit. The people were as friendly as could be.

Willow Creek is a very nice facility. I wouldn't recommend it to everyone only a specific group of people. When I was there in 2010 I noticed that depending on your care needs the more attention you would receive from the staff. I had a client who gradually started to decline and as she started to decline the staff wasn't noticing the changes she was going through and so needless to say her daughter moved her mom because she felt just because her moms level of care changed her care shouldn't had changed. Out of five stars, I would rank the grounds a four out of five stars, the common areas a four out five stars, the residents' rooms a four out five stars, the staff  a three out five stars and the quality of care a three. Overall, I'd give Willow Creek a rating of three stars because of the reason listed above.
