They take good care of you in The Gardens, and the staff is very helpful. I'm in a room with a bath, but they also have 2-bedroom units with a private bathroom, and there are smaller rooms that share a bathroom. The food is great here, we have all kinds of crafts, and there's a bus that take us to places like the Walmart; they keep us busy. The grounds are well taken care of, and they have grass cutters that come twice a month. It's just a very well-maintained place.

I went to Truewood by Merrill, Ocean Springs. They were beautiful, but for the money that we were paying, they didn't offer as many services as the other place did, and it was farther away. The staff was beautiful. They did a great job showing us around. But it wasn't as personalized, and it was a lot older. Even though my mom's going to be 90, she's a young 90, and the people there were mostly really older people. They offer two buffets and one sit-down meal. They would serve if they needed to serve. They had a living room, a theater room, a library, and a big eating room. They're the same things, but for those services, everything you added on was extra dollars.

The Gardens' personnel and the individual who gave the tour were very professional and provided all information and answered all my questions very well. You have your basic monthly fee, but anything above that is extra. If you have any problems at all, the overall package dollar amount goes up very quickly. The rooms were adequate in size and well-maintained. They had art projects and a few other activities, but they seemed very limited. They offered meals. The place was very clean, and the décor and furnishing were nice. The biggest drawback was the amount of outside area.

The Gardens was nice, and the residents liked it there. We ate lunch in their dining area the day we visited, and the food was good. The staff and the people seemed nice. It felt like a nice place overall.

The Gardens is in a great location. The manager was nice, polite, and thorough, and the personnel was super. They do the interview to see what level of care you need since they can't accept you if you can't take care of yourself. It's so discreet and personal that you won't realize that they're taking an exam or interview. They were great. They had bingo and group activities, like card games.

This is a wonderful forever last home for our mother. The staff and nurses are wonderful and caring. The nutritionist and kitchen staff are very accommodating. The food is good and balanced. We were able to furnish and decorate her little apartment so pretty. There are activities every day all through the day. I am really pleased.

I was asked to check out places for my friend's father who lived in the area and someone I knew recommended the Gardens. I did not know what to expect. I got to the Gardens and everyone was so friendly. I took a tour and the rooms seemed nice but what really got me was the food. It looked really tasty and smelled even better. The people at the tables in the dining room seemed happy and seemed like they were enjoying each other's company while they were eating

The Gardens was a beautiful place, and the staff was accommodating. The environment was pleasant, but the price tag was steep. I really liked it, and it was an assisted living arrangement. The bed area with the closet and the TV was separate from a little sitting area which I really like. In between the 2 areas was a small area with a little refrigerator large enough for drinks, and it's very nice. One thing I didn't like was the fee for the medicine pass was not included in the price that we were quoted. It was a thousand dollars more, and I was not happy with that, and I felt that was dishonest. They should people upfront so they don't waste their time. Even though I was disappointed with the financial part of it, the place was beautiful, the staff was very professional, and if had we had the finances, my loved one would be there.

I have been taking care of a resident for approximately one and a half years-running errands for him, taking him to the doctor, etc. I interact with the staff at The Gardens almost daily. They are always patient with the residents, very caring, and very friendly. I know quite a few of the residents, and they are always laughing and joking with me and others. Obviously, they are happy here!

The staff at The Gardens is very attentive. My mother is extremely happy there, and she has met friends. She enjoys the food, and they're very helpful in bringing her a plate because she gets really nervous in the cafeteria, but they do make sure they bring her a plate, and the food seems to be fine. It's conveniently located to my sister and myself, and when we got there, we liked it; there really was no need to go any place else.

The Gardens has been providing excellent care for a family member for well over 3 years. I highly recommend the facility as management and staff are very friendly and do an outstanding job. Many of the rooms are fairly new as they recently expanded about two years ago. There are also plenty of activities for residents and fantastic meals. I definitely recommend The Gardens Senior Assisted Living Home.

The Gardens Assisted Living has simply put, made a huge difference in my Parents (Ernie and Adele's life and in our families life. I live in Savannah and knowing they are taking care of is huge to me. My dad was supported and encouraged to get his VA Benefit which has helped hugly. From Jodi, the GM, to Shrika the head Nurse to all the staff, they are the best, it did not start that way. What changed, new Ownership and Jodi's Leadership! I can't say enough about it. She is the best!!! Warm Regards to all, Robert, CPM

We were in a bind, and we knew the owners of The Gardens, and they were able to accommodate us immediately. It really worked out well and we were very happy with it. We got my parents an apartment. I really enjoyed the food, and I sat with them for a meal. People come in and play music, they have games like Bingo, and they have movie nights and church services.

I went to The Gardens at Ocean Springs and it is very nice and very professionally-run facility. They have nice accommodation and nice dining room. They play bingo, do sing-a-longs, but my mother is not a social person. She has dementia so it’s not really the place suited for her. If I was an elderly, I could move in here and I could mingle with other people.
