My husband moved to Willow Falls Senior Living. Two of my daughters and I went there to look over and look at the apartment that he would be getting, and it was nice. It was very clean. Everyone was very cordial with us. We felt very welcomed even on just the walk-through. Stephanie was the girl who went over all the paperwork with us and pretty much explained everything. A couple of things changed from her explanation to the end, but they were minor. I had no idea that when you go to a nursing home, you have to provide all the furniture. So that put us on a little delay of moving in. I had to go buy some stuff for him, and we had to make arrangements to get it there. I thought it was hospital beds and stuff, just like a hospital but it was not. It was more like an apartment, but everything worked out well. He's adjusting very nicely and seems to be enjoying it. There's an activity director there that gets them very involved. They're in memory care, so their capacity isn't much. He needs help putting a jigsaw puzzle together, but they sit with him and do that with him just to get him out of his room into the activity area and try to keep him busy.

Willow Falls Senior Living was very clean. It just seemed very cheery. It was bright and sunny in there. The people were very welcoming and it looked like the residents were friendly and they looked happy. There is a beauty salon, and there's a place where they have a big bird aviary, so you can sit and watch birds. There's a movie theater. There's a big area in the library where you can just sit at a table and play cards or whatever with a bunch of people. It was just a very attractive place. The dining area was very pleasant. It looked like a nice place. It was clean and airy, and it just seemed like it was welcoming.

We did a tour of Willow Falls Senior Living. The facility was very clean. Their staff, Stephanie, was very thorough in answering all of our questions. The apartments were small. They had a lot of stuff available. They had a barbershop, and the amenities were nice. We did not try the food. The facility was very nice, it was just close to the main road.

I went to Willow Falls Senior Living to see my neighbors several times. One was on the Alzheimer's floor, so he had a little bit more care. They were very attentive. He didn't really need a lot of care. He just needed to be up there because he kind of didn't really know exactly where he was. His wife was there too, but she was on another floor. The atmosphere was very nice. They have a nice dining room area. When you first walk in, they have a nice seating area. He was on the second floor, and he had a nice view. They had very good security because you had to buzz in, especially up there on the memory care floor. You had to get someone's attention to let you in to the hallways, so the security was very well there. They have little activity rooms and stuff like that. My neighbors said they had a reading session and crafts, but I didn't personally see them do any. It's very nice for the amount of money.

My sister is a resident of Willow Falls Senior Living. It's been very positive, because my sister had been there in the independent living. I was really happy that I was able to be able to put her back over there after a short time to put her into the assisted living. At first, I thought it was not going to be affordable, and then it became more affordable for us as a family. So, I was very glad that we were able to return to that community, because it was such a positive place when she was independent. Her room is wonderful. It's a perfect situation for her, and what she needs at this time in her life. The staff has been, for the most part, very cooperative and responsive to her needs. I appreciate the fact that when it's been important to make sure that the place is fully staffed, that if they have not had enough staff in-house, then they'd use agency staff. I think that's been very appropriate, so that the ratio between staff and residents continues to be very, very good. I appreciate that effort on their part to make sure that there are always people who are taking care of the residents. I've been very impressed with that. The food is great. The dining area is really very attractive. It's very appealing and very open. It's spacious and well appointed. It's just a really nice dining area. We're still in COVID mode, so it's not like there is just a whole level of different kinds of interaction in that cafeteria. People are segregated because it's COVID still, and they're still concerned from a health and safety point of view. I appreciate that. My sister is almost ready for memory care, so there's very little that my sister can do, but she's always included. She's always invited to participate, even though she herself can't participate. She can be there with others if she wants to be. There's always an invitation, and there's always a caregiver who's willing to take her down to activities. She has been doing the morning exercises, which has been good for her.

My father lived there for a short time. The first week someone stole his towels and they called us liars. How do we know you had these? His wallet, it’s contents disappeared! ($140.00 to be exact) his razor (which we had to give to them because we couldn’t leave it in his room) disappeared they said they gave it back to us no they didn’t! We constantly replaced items so they did have them available and they went through wet wipes like they were free! He told us they didn’t use one at a time they were just grab handfuls. They ruined his clothes the first time they did laundry. And they laughed about it! These people have no regard or respect for these resident’s belongings! I heard a care partner disrespect a resident told her to shut up and just take her meds! You don’t treat people like that. I wouldn’t leave my worst enemy in that place. Carol thinks she owns the fourth floor Constantly coming in my fathers apartment and she had no business being there. She’s just nosy! Get your loved ones out of there!

My mom just recently moved into Willow Falls Senior Living. She is in their independent living. The layout's great. It's a nice place, well kept, and well maintained. The people seem nice too. They still have some activities, but they're kind of restricted because of COVID. I think my mom's going to play bingo, so they have that. They also have a movie night. She liked her first couple of meals. The dining area is a nice little area. It's well-kept, clean, and there's plenty of seating for everybody. Everyone's kind of sitting around talking, so there's a lot of interaction between the residents of the place. I can't complain about anything yet. The staff's very friendly. They are responsive, very nice, and when I call, they respond very quickly.

I toured the independent living at Willow Falls. It was very nice, it was secure, and it was well maintained. I saw some of the people who live there sitting together in the hallway chatting, so it seemed like a very positive social environment. The staff was very nice and communicative. They gave me all kinds of details, answered all my questions well, and asked me the right questions, too -- they interviewed me, in a way. The rooms were well accommodated and they had everything we needed. The one thing I didn't care for so much was that it was right in Crest Hill, so some rooms looked out onto a parking lot. A couple of rooms, though, looked out onto this beautiful little pond. Their restaurant/cafeteria area also looked out onto that pond and a grassy area. That was very pleasant, and I thought my mom would really enjoy that because, like her table right now in her house, she gets to watch the squirrels and the birds. I thought that was very nice to have the eating area and the common area looking out over that area. I thought the facility was roomy and well maintained, and it was easy for people to move around. They had elevators too. It seemed very homey and not institutional.

I was very impressed with Inn at Willow Falls. We had gotten there just after lunch, and everything was cleared up, but the food smelled good. The rooms were a good size. The unit that we had picked out for my mom had a little living room area, a kitchenette, a little bedroom, and a good-sized bathroom; it was just what we were looking for. They had a swimming pool, an ice cream parlor, and a little store where you could get stamps and little things that you might need. They had a little area for reading books with a fireplace. Overall, it was very pleasant and very homey. They had a lot of different levels of community, including independent living, assisted, and memory care. With the memory care section, they offered fall alert buttons for when they fall and can’t get up and so they’re able to go and walk around. It was a beautiful place.

Willow Falls was a very nice place and very comfortable for older people, although we were not able to go into the rooms because of the price. Everything was nice, and it had a very homey feeling.

Willow Falls is the one that we moved my mom into. They feel like family. She has been in there since the first week of May. The staff is really good. We are pretty pleased with the place. It seems to be going very well. My mom seems happy.

I visited Willow Falls. I was very impressed with all of the amenities. The facility itself was clean, nice, and a good size. The staff was very helpful, and I was very impressed with them. I was very happy with the layout of the rooms which had a living room, a bedroom, and a kitchen. It was small, so you would not have a lot to take care of.

Beautiful facility; wonderful people; spoke with a resident who said he was very happy there; This was #2 on my list of preferences for my father, and that was only because one other facility had lower costs overall I would recommend it to anyone looking for assisted (or independent) living. The independent village was so inviting. I'd love to stay there in time..

Willow Falls was very nice and clean. The staff was very pleasant. They had a lot of services, like transportation to go out to lunch and activities in the centers. The prices were more reasonable. The dining room was set up more like a restaurant with China and table cloths as opposed to a cafeteria. It was very nice, attractive, and homey. I really liked that the activities were posted in the elevator, so it was very easy for any resident to look and see what was coming up at what time. It was very well done.

They showed me one of the one-bedroom apartments. The place's atmosphere was wonderful and bright, and it housed a small number, around 78, of independent people. They don’t serve supper, but they had hot meals for breakfast and lunch. They also had a beautiful pond full of fish.

My mom is at Willow Falls. She loves it. She is enjoying the freedom. She likes the fact that she downsizes. She gets her meals. She makes friends. I will recommend it to others. I will say it is a caring community. It has good people helping the residents, and it is very handy to their needs, like grocery shopping.

Willow Falls was a nice place. They have a swimming pool and a large walking trail around the lake. You would get two meals a day there. They have a little store and a beauty shop. They have different kinds of activities. They also have a bus service. If you don't have a car, the bus will take you to the store or to the doctors. They would also do excursions to places.

They were very informative, and they gave me a tour. They were accommodating. They followed up at a later time to see if I had any questions. Willow Falls seemed like a nice place. I knew several residents there, and they were happy with it. They had a pool down below, an exercise room, and a community room that was being utilized by several residents. They had a choral group that was practicing.

Willow Falls is very similar in layout and in what they have to offer in comparison with the other place I've seen, but their apartment rooms are smaller. It is still spacious compared to a lot of them I looked at. I just went for the tour, and everybody was friendly and helpful. At Willow Falls, they actually go to White Sox games and travel a little farther. They have a library, a gym, and a swimming pool. They even offer a service where you can own your condominium or townhome across the street in one area. You can kind of live your own life, but if you can sign up a la carte -- like maybe you don't want to cook your own meal -- then you could have three cooked meals brought in.

Willow Falls is one of my favorites. The rooms were like small apartments, and they were all very nice. I got a feeling of freedom of movement for the people. They have activities. I had all my questions answered. It did not look like there was any problem with the upkeep.

Willow Falls Senior Living Community was lovely, and the people were very friendly. They answered our questions, gave us a call back, gave us more information, and they were very, very nice. We have friends that are in there, and they like it.

I have a close friend living at Willow Falls. He first lived in the Condos (independent living) and now has moved to the assisted living side. I can't say enough for the staff. They are patient and attentive. The facility is a nice size so that people know each other by name. Definitely recommend this facility. It is probably not the lowest priced, but definitely a quality home for those in need.

Willow Falls was not so far from my house. It was very nice. The staff was wonderful and I thought they were top notched. The only thing I didn't care for was they had a refrigerator and a microwave in the room which I don't think was necessary. They had an old fashion store that had ice cream and when I was there, they were making popcorn. However, there were more people sitting outside smoking and you had to walk right through them. I would have thought that if you want people to sit and smoke, they had to put them somewhere else. They needed a smoking area for their residents.

My sister found Willow Falls and we chose them over other communities because of their memory care unit. I think they do a great job. They're all very attentive to her and the other residents there. I think they employ the right people who care a lot about other people.

My 93-year old mother has been with Willow Falls for almost 9 years. We are extremely pleased with Willow Falls. The care has been outstanding. I don't think we ever had a concern. My mom is mentally and physically very well. She's very appreciative of all the excellent care and friendliness. They're like a family to her.I this she's probably there the longest now. She's used to the routine. She's used to her apartment. Infact there are times that she's just very happy to be there because she can come and go as she wants. If she wants to entertained she would play bingo or go to a book club. She goes to church and church functions. My mother is a reader and they have a great library that she's just very happy with. She keeps busy. My brother and I couldn't be more pleased with the place that my mom chose to live to 9 years ago. The structure is kept in an excellent condition. It doesn't smell like a nursing home. When you walk in, it's very pleasing to the eyes. It's just a very nice facility to enter. One good thing is that the people who work there have longevity. There's a lot of continuity with the aides in the dining room, in the office, in the nursing staff. There's so much expertise and continuity that makes Willow falls such a wonderful place.

Originally I had taken Sylvia, a close friend to Willow Falls and see the place. Her sister had Alzheimers. When her sister died in 2009 and Sylvia started showing signs of Alzheimers last May. We just knew that she needed to go somewhere. Willow Falls is really such nice place for her. The staff is great. They always seem friendly and helpful. They know what you need before you need it.They've always just been very understanding. They always explain different things to me and answer my questions. I just feel that they really take good care of her.

I like their location and I like the size of Willow Falls. It's not so large. Walking from the room to the dining room is not a daunting task. The place is clean. I like the carpet on the hallway. I love the activities they do. On Valentine's day they had party. They also had a party for Saint Patrick's Day. Every Wednesday, they have a happy hour. They play bingo too. They get people out of their rooms. My mom lives right down the hall from the chapel. She goes to the chapel everyday. They have rosary and a communion service and mass. They have things that are important to her. She's very happy there. My mom loves the food. It's good food and she doesn't have to cook it. I'm basically very pleased with Willow Falls.

I toured 3 facilities and by far I was impressed with Willow Falls the most. When I called for an appointment for tour, they were more than kind in setting me up when it was convenient for me. They explained that we'd get a nice tour of the facility. They would go over all the paper work and it would take about an hour. The person who I made the appointment with was the person who met with me. They gave us a wonderful tour and that was really impressive. The very day my mom moved in was very smooth. The apartments are just perfect. They are perfectly sized with the right amenities. I knew that my mom would be happy. Their activities were a perfect fit for her. I think one of the nice features is that we're Catholic and they have a priest who comes in once a week to do a mass. There are always caregivers around. They know my mom's name and my name. When a family visits they greet everybody by first name. They're more than happy to help us if we needed anything. My mom likes the food there very much. I haven't dined there yet but my sisters have and they all love the food. They have a nice dining room and it's very welcoming.

I found the staff to be very efficient and friendly. I had no problems with them. They are very cooperative. Everything's going real well. My brother has been there for about a month and a half. He seems to be gaining weight. He likes the food at Willow Falls.
