My grandmother was admitted to this facility following a fall at her home which left her needing rehabilitation. From the moment my grandma got there, we felt at ease. The staff at Four Winds were there for us through the entire process--from admission to discharge. I can't say enough about the therapy team. Heather and Jim you guys rock!!! They even have a therapy dog! My grandma didn't feel like she was getting therapy because the Four Winds team made it really fun for her. They were also able to see her after she discharged from the facility in her own home. While we didn't need permanent placement with Four Winds, they do offer a lot of services. We toured the assisted living because if my grandma were to need placement in the future we would definitely chose one of their units. They have assisted living AND memory care to pick from and all of the units are private and recently remodeled. It didn't feel like you were at a facility, it was very homelike. The activities are also wonderful, not only did they have Bingo but they brought in food from a local restaurant for restaurant week, had music groups, cooking clubs and book clubs. My grandma was always doing something when she wasn't in therapy. She misses everyone so much. THANK YOU FOUR WINDS! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone!

I had the opportunity to have my mother-in-law at Four Winds, initially in their skilled nursing facility, then the frail elderly unit and eventually she moved into their secure memory care unit. I was very pleased with the care and attention she received in all of the areas.. Staff made sure she was engaged in the many different activities they provided, even though at times, my mother-in-law said she did not want to participate. But once she got engaged in an activity, she thoroughly enjoyed herself. I liked the fact that Four Winds offered a continuum of care which included the skilled rehab facility as my mother-in-law needed these services initially when she fell and fractured her hip. We realized she could not return home and it was comforting to know she could stay in the same facility, just move to the assisted living area. I would highly recommend their services to anyone needing both short or a longer term arrangement.

Four Winds Manor was a very good place. We are hoping that when my mother is ready, they have a space available because that's where we want her to go. They had just remodeled, so everything looked nice, and the staff was very helpful and answered all of our questions. The dining room had been remodeled, too, so it looked really nice. I was very happy with the whole place. They were having a Bible study while we were there.

The facility itself was nice enough, reminded me much of other facilities I have visited in the past. My grandmother had to stay at this facility after she sustained an injury and was no longer able to care for herself at home. While the staff seemed personally nice enough, we didn't feel they fully understood my grandmothers needs related to her injury. She was often left in her room for hours on end with no one checking on her. She was not able to move on her own and we felt the staff should have checked on her more often to change her position or check if she needed to use the restroom. When my dad addressed our concerns with the staff they seemed somewhat combative. In the end we moved her to another facility that was more willing to listen to our concerns. I would not reccomend this facility to friends and family.

This facility is where my Dad was until he died a year ago. He was there when he passed away and I was there with him. The people there were very caring and seemed for the most part to care about their residents. However, it could use some improvement in their processes and some details seem to slip through the cracks. Some of his belongings disappeared here and there, so there could be an improvement in that area. Overall, though, it was pretty good. I would give it a 7.5 on a scale of 1-10.
