So far, we're happy with Azura Memory Care of Manitowoc. The staff is friendly, and there doesn’t seem to be a high turnover. The place is located in a ranch-style home within a nice-looking neighborhood. There are only single rooms, no shared rooms. There aren't any bathrooms in the rooms, but they are warm and very nice.

We offer a wide range of Alzheimer's, dementia and memory care services at Azura Memory Care of Manitowoc including: 24-hour memory care; on-site respite care; high caregiver to resident ratio; on-site beautician services; electronic charting system; medication management; diabetic management, including sliding scale insulin; registered nursing services; in-home podiatry and dental services and offer on-site physician oversight. In addition, our home works in collaboration with area home health and hospice providers to assist with higher medical needs including wound care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech/swallow therapy and end-of-life care. Azura also provides daily behavioral and medical monitoring and is sit-to-stand and Hoyer lift capable.

I toured Azura Memory Care of Manitowoc. It was really small. They only had 8 or 10 rooms, so it's limited on the number of people there. The people that I spoke with were friendly, courteous, and cordial. But what I didn't like was, because it was so small, it would be limited with activities and interaction with other people and stuff.
