My father has moved into Coventry Village. I like best that they have a men's group. The least is probably that they don't have three meals a day automatically, it's two. The staff was very friendly and engaging. It's very clean and very nice. They have ice cream socials, happy hour, and art activities. I've met with the artistic director a couple of times. I would recommend it just because of the friendliness of the people there.

We were very happy with the tour at Coventry Village. We'll probably bring my parents there at some point to see the place. Our tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and gave us a lot of written information to look through later. They were very clear about pricing and floor plans and things like that. We were able to see one of the two-bedroom floor plans, which was quite spacious. There was a lot of light and I was impressed with just the wide doorways. They also had quite a lot of activities available for their residents. On each floor, there was something specialized for people, a computer area, a library, and the pub where they had bingo going on. It seemed like people were very engaged there and very capable. They had several one-bedroom and several two-bedroom floor plan options. Independent living is separated from the other levels of care. You can get some extra care that you can pay for there, but you need to move when you need to go into assisted living or memory care.

I visited Coventry village and went for lunch. It was good and satisfactory for me, but I like anything, and it was like a home-cooked meal. The rooms have a balcony, washer and dryer, and storage in each floor. However, you have to pay an extra $45 a month for the garage -- which I didn’t like -- and I didn’t want to leave my car in the snow.

I am packing this morning and I will be moving to Coventry Village sometime next week. I choose it because it is close to where I am and will not have problem with my doctors, or where I can have my prescriptions. I also have two boys that live very close to the area. I have an apartment there. They also have one-bedroom, two-bedrooms and they do have condos there too. The staff is very nice and I understand the meals are very good. They had a variety of activities. They have a van and a bus and they take people to places.

Coventry was a big facility. I like its location. The rooms were very nice and well maintained. They have pretty much the same activities, like game room, a card room, a library, and the ability to take people wherever they wanted to go by bus around the city, to doctor's appointments or grocery shopping. The staff was very friendly.
