The rooms were neat and clean because it is a new building. I was not impressed with all the staff just talking amongst themselves at the desk while the residents just sat at table. The residents just sitting at the table, and one face down in the table sleeping. Staff didn’t seem to care or even notice. Did not see the food so I cannot speak to how that is. Will not be having my parent move in here.

We visited Caretta Holmen and saw their assisted living. They have a comprehensive set of services. Their facilities are very nice and fairly new, and they have a full kitchen in the apartment for the people who lived there, which appealed to my parents. They also have a lot of activities on any given day. I didn't have much interaction with their staff, just with their sales representative, and she was very professional and very thorough. I checked their menu and I got a copy of the one they have for the week in which I visited them and it looked like it would be a very good menu but we haven't tasted it.

We're thinking of choosing Caretta Holmen for my brother. It was all clean and bright, and the staff was very helpful. My brother liked it very much, too. The place was modern because the place was just built in the last couple of years. I liked the size of the rooms, and I liked the fact that there were big windows with great views and lots of sunlight in the rooms.
