ABridge Care Cottage of Chilton is a nice place. They could maybe do a little better with cleaning the bathrooms. Otherwise, it's nice there. When I go visit my partner who's there, they haven't had activities, but I know they do something once or twice a day. The staff are all nice. They all know what they're doing. They could use some improvement in their meals though. It's not like a home-cooked meal. It's more like fish sticks, like things from boxes that are frozen. I consider their price expensive.

Rooms are dark and smell strongly of urine. Numerous times the bed was wet and they let the resident lay in it sometimes for days before hanging the sheets. Staff seem uncaring if they don’t like the resident. They are untrained and unable to assist with any type of behavior disability. Food is very sad. I would never eat there. Please beware before letting your love one stay there.

My uncle is in Abridge Care Cottages of Chilton. It has been a pretty good experience. They always call and let me know how he's doing. I think the care has been relatively pretty good. The cooking is good. I have been there several times when he's eating. His room is just basically one room with a bathroom, but it's a good size room. He's got room for a full-size bed, a dresser, a chest of drawers, a standard recliner, and a bench. The staff has been friendly with me. They've been good. If I ask any questions, they're always willing to assist or advise. They have a dining area. They have an activity area. They do have a large outdoor area that is gated, where nobody can wander off. They do rehabilitation and exercises. As far as an activity, I know he participates in bingo. They do drawings at times and a little bit of art stuff.

The staff at ABridge Care Cottage of Chilton was very, very kind, and very friendly, even the maintenance. The director wasn't there that day, but she had a fill in that took us for the tour around memory care. The residents were engaged, but the staff members weren't participating with them. They seemed to be a little short staffed, but they were very good, very caring, and seemed to really want to take care of the people. They were open to us asking questions and showing us things. I just think their maintenance staff could do a little better maintaining the facility.

My uncle is doing well at ABridge Care Cottage of Chilton. They have activities and they have a nice dining room. The place is very clean and nice. The nurses I have talked to have been very good. They have an onsite doctor. They can offer good care. The rooms vary in size, but they only had one room available when he moved in, and there was another one that was coming available. It's just basically one room with everything, other than the bathroom being separate. It's just a one-person room. It's a memory care unit. I'm not exactly sure what they do extra, but they offer activities like bingo. It is a locked-down facility, so nobody can leave, but they have an outdoor area that's gated, which is nice. The staff is very good. The HR girl that got us in there was very good. The one nurse I met was very good and very nice. The aide and even the administrators are all very good. The layout is very good.
