I was in Cedar Springs Rehab Center for physical therapy, and I liked all of it very much. I felt very comfortable and very well taken care of. It was a private room and very comfortable. I had a TV, and everything I needed was there. The bathroom was right there, and everything was private. I liked the food very much. I was only in that facility for about six weeks for rehabilitation and physical therapy. I liked the different therapy departments; they did a wonderful job with me. There were very nice activities, like a sing-along once a week, pet therapy, and all of the normal things like bingo and church. It was very well done.

My mother is in this facility and is getting almost no care. She had no medication for 3 days after her arrival. Aides come and go as they please, leaving a nurse to do everything. Poorly staffed. They do not answer call lights. One nurse kept telling her she was confused when is very alert and aware. She would tell them what meds she should be getting. They stop meds without orders to do so. She is not getting a bath once a week. A terrible place! There are no activities so my mother sits in her room all day by herself.

The three weeks my relative was temporarily housed there for rehab after hospitalization they did not shower her the entire time, they would not answer their call button for longer than 1/2 hour, she laid in her waste all night once, their PT does not schedule with the wing when they plan her session so if she is not ready they move on to the next person and try later and if you are still not ready, you miss your PT for that day, the doctor saw her once and would not consult with her primary doctor to see what meds she was on before coming there.

Unfortunately I have to give 1 star. This facility does not even deserve one star. Their Healthcare is unbelievably sad. A person goes there to get better yet they end up getting worse. Machines making noise constantly peoples alarms going off nobody around to help. I have had to help my loved one clean up because they could not make it to the bathroom in time and staff was that not there to help. So sad! I believe that prisoners get better attention then the patients do at Cedar Springs. I would not even recommend this place to my worst enemy. Please stay away

DO NOT GO to this place! Wow! My mother in law went here - administration or lack there of took all day, they "couldn't find " her meds for a day and a half. I came to bring her somethings and while I was there the lady across the hall put on her call light and I watched not one person came to help her. Finally after 1 hour someone came. The entrance looks very nice but when you get to the nurses station it goes down hill fast! Carpet looks very dirty, walls dirty and the hallways smell so bad like bm. Yuck! After my mother in law did not get her meds I called to see what was up. I left a message for the manager who's voice mail says she will get back to you within 24 hours. (Never got a call back! As of today it will be 5 days!) I called and asked to talk to a nurse who told me they just found meds and another nurse was walking down the hall with them as we speak. I said ok, thank you! My mother in law called me an HOUR later and she still never saw anyone with her meds! So that nurse flat out LIED to me! My mother in law stayed 2 more days and we took her home! UNBELIEVABLE! ! I can not believe this facility! For being in Cedarburg it should have higher standards!!

My Mom was at this facility for 1 month after hip surgery. She was never provided with assistance with hygiene and personal cares! Very poorly staffed with high acuity of patient needs call lights are ignored. Patients are left in soiled garments and in soiled beds. One of the worst facilities I have ever seen!

I would NOT recommend this facility to anyone. My mother was in there for 2 weeks and the care was terrible. They didn't even help with basic hygiene on a daily basis. She came home with bed sores and bruising. When addressed with management they just tell you what they need to but never fix the issues in their facility. The nursing staff kept telling us she was blind when in fact she is not. Sad to see such poor care for the elderly and I would imagine it is even worse for those who don't have family there to watch over the care.

They have very good therapy there. I broke my hip and I was there for 2 months. At first, I was in a hospital for 4 days and then I went there to Cedar Springs Rehab. I started the therapy the next day I got there. I was in a private room. It was very clean and comfortable. The people who helped me with the therapy are very good. You really got to do what they tell you. My hip got better there and is fine now.

I enjoyed my time at Cedar Springs, there were certain things I loved and others I did not. I really liked how they allowed people to bring in dogs and go visit with the residents. Animals are a great way to make people happy. The staff was not very friendly and upbeat, which was sad. There was not a large variety of amenities and most of the residents sat in their rooms all day.The facilities were clean and neat, except for the one storage room. There were boxes piled higher than you could see with items falling out. Other than that room it was very clean. I really enjoyed visiting time with the residents where I would go door to door and chat with each of them.

A number of family and friends relatives have been in the facility. The facility is clean bright and homelike. Physical therapists are friendly and push just enough. The staff is short, so sometimes a longer wait. Only real issues we had was the food service. One was on a diabetic diet and they sent banana breads and sweets, even after 2 weeks of telling them she could NOT have them they were still on the tray. They were very helpful with accomidating her large frame and helping her rehabilitation and get home.
