The therapists at Brookfield Rehabilitation & Specialty Care Center were wonderful, and everybody was friendly and accommodating. They had music, and they had a poetry talk session to get you involved in poetry. It was very good.

This is possibly, the worst facility ever! It is so dirty, patients lay naked in their excretion. They allow limbs to atrophy. I cry every time I go see my uncle. I have no control over him and I curse what we allow to happen to these people. When you confront a staff they all say they will let someone know and nothing gets done while they talk about personal issues and play on phones.

My mother-in-law is in ARIA of Brookfield for rehab. The facility is fine, but I don't think she's strong enough. As far as we're concerned the services are fine. She's in a private room and they do her rehab right in the room, so it's a big room she's in. They put a special mattress in there for her. She's been there a week and they've communicated pretty much pretty well. She does have a TV and no phone, but we got her cell phone, which she can't use very well. They do have other things like group activities, but she hasn't been involved in any of that because she's not moving around too well. They seem to be short-handed. Last night my husband was there, smelled urine in her room, and she was wearing a diaper. So, she needs nursing care.

they need to clean this building up defunk. It is smell pissy and smell like BM. They are understaffed and they're not feeding these people, they have no nourishment food for the people that lives here. They do not bring the food covered with lids over walking down the hallway and it's unsanitary for them to do that.

This facility is poorly run. They a frequently understaffed. On several occasions they've run out of my father's necessary medication. He often goes over a week without a shower even though he will ask to take one. The staff doesn't check on the residents regularly. It just doesn't seem like a very safe environment, probably due to under staffing. I would not willingly send my family member here.

My mother is not an easy resident to handle and she's got several serious medical conditions. The staff have always been kind and caring. A member of our family visits routinely and she has not had any complaints about my mother's care or the cleanliness of the room. The staff are very responsive and helpful to her and to those of us who live further away and check up on my mother by phone. The onsite dialysis is invaluable. We had my mother in other rehab places before this one (she'snow in long term nursing care) and we are much happier with Brookfield Rehab. I wish it were easier to get a hold of the doctors, but the nurses are all very responsive and helpful.
