My friend is a resident of Clearbrook Inn. They have outstanding staff. I was there last week. The lunches are superb. It's a wonderful place. They have cottages. They allow cars, they have garages. They're one story and very easy to access. They're beautifully maintained. They have nice vegetation around the cottages and it's very welcoming.

Everything about Clearbrook Inn was really good. They're very friendly, very nice. Everybody was just incredibly helpful. They have a bird cage and it's really cute. They also offer a gym, salon, a reading room, a library, and exercise room. It's located close to the hospital and to where I live, so that'll be a really nice place to live.

Everything was great when my relative moved in several years ago. But things have been going downhill for the last couple of years. Really good administrators leaving because of changes in corporate philosophy. Food has gone down hill, no longer fulltime nursing, big turnover in staff, level of care has declined. Unexpected huge increases in costs. Obviously cutting corners to increase income. Room is nice. Line staff are friendly. Limited activities. Few amenities. Nice grounds and interior recently updated. Increasingly delayed response times to buzzer. Charge extra for the call button.

The rooms are very nice. My resident was very happy when he first moved in. They had a great Administrator. She left and another took over. Things started to go down hill. Then another Administrator took over and things really changed. Nurses quitting, attendants quitting. Constant change of those who take care of your loved one. Things went down hill except for a couple of the nurses and staff that cared about the residents. There is a shortage of staff on weekends and it makes it hard for the residents that need help. If we could have moved our loved one; we would have done so.

My father stayed at Clearbrook Inn for a couple of months, and it was a good experience. His room was spacious. He had a little kitchenette, a recliner, a TV, a loveseat, a bed, and a nice size bathroom. It's a clean facility. There was a dining area downstairs for people who can't feed themselves and upstairs where he would eat his meals, and it was nice. He liked the food there. They're efficient, the nurses were great, and they took good care of him. The staff was good, but there were a few times I'd have to go tell them he needed to be shaved. The facility was great.

Clearbrook Inn (Encore Communities) looks very nice. I reside in Arizona, but from what my mom is telling me, the staff does an excellent job. The only problem that she has is that on the weekends they seem very short-handed. My mom says there is plenty of the food. She said there's too much food. I think it is good and quite satisfactory. My dad is in the highest level of care, so he doesn't have any activities per se. My mom does not participate because she needs to be with him. However, I understand they have activities that take them outside of the area. Mom did say she went to a movie the other day there. I think they're overpriced. They're the higher priced of the places in the community.

Mom stayed at Clearbrook when she had a broken hip, and it was very good; my mom was the problem. They handled the situation very well, and we thought the staff was quite wonderful. The rooms were very nice, caring, and thoughtful. They seemed to be very well-trained. I would recommend them.

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. They treated my father well and he was happy there. The staff interacted with him as if he was a friend, not a patient, and I think that helped him feel more cared for and more at home. The nursing staff were all up to date on his condition and careful to relay information to him. They answered his questions and took time with him. They also answered my questions and let me know that they were available if I needed more information or help with my father.I tasted some portions of the meals and though the presentationa looked good, I thought the meals weren't very flavorful. For seniors, I think that could be a problem as they do tend to lose some sense of taste and also their appetitie. It's easier to be interested in food when it tastes good.Overall, I would be happy with my father living here. Still, it is an assisted living facility and will take an adjustment for anyone moving in. The facilities looked new and in excellent condition and convenient to get to. There were other facilities on the property for independent living as well. Now that he is out of assisted living and back home, I have been encouraging my father to move to this facility instead of living alone.

My mother currently works at Clearbrook Inn and I have a few friends with Grandparents housed there. I have toured it before (work-related) and have been thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness, upkeep, and patient care. The location is both close and accessible to Silverdale, Washington. They engage in activities with their residents almost monthly and even bi-monthly. My girlfriend is a live in caregiver for her grandfather, and once his condition deteriorates further, he will be moving there for permanent residence.
