I visited this facility

I haven't moved into Guardian Angel Homes, but with the two different people being in charge of who gets there, I found the visiting experience to be helpful and friendly. It's a great experience, I'm looking forward to living there, and we picked that because it meets our needs. It looks good. They have patios, and our apartment will have a balcony. It's airy. I especially like that the halls going to each individual apartment aren't straight, they're curvy, so you aren't looking down this hallway with doors on either side, which was off-putting to me in some of the ones we visited. So their design works better; it's more homey and it's more friendly.

This community is beautiful and well thought out. They've made the transition from a big house to one of their duplexes easy and stress free by accommodating their needs. My parents feel so blessed to be there and us kids are very grateful! We love the Guardian Angel!

Room is fine. Interactions with some staff are great; others not as much. Things with my parent were fine until more care was needed. My parent is not happy now. We may be looking for another place.

I visited this facility

I find Guardian Angel Homes for my mother. It is a lovely place. It is like a campus with several homes. Each home has 15 bedrooms. All are private bedrooms with private baths. It has a very friendly, nice and caring staff. It is very clean. I am very impressed when I first tour having toured some of the large facilities. I have already referred them to several people.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

My mother is already at Guardian Angel Homes. I went to several, but they were cheaper and nicer, and the reason I liked about them for a memory care unit was their layout. Most of the other ones I went to all seemed to me that my mom would be confused. Their concept was that they have several houses, so there were only like 14 people in a house. All they do is come out of their room, and there would be the living room and their kitchen. It was more like a pad style of a house. That is what I like and the price. They were cheaper than most of those that had the locked down memory care unit. I thought the staff was very professional.

I visited this facility

I was quite impressed with the Guardian Angel. I would probably recommend this facility even though I never stayed there. They have big houses, and each house has different levels of people. Everything was home cooked, and it was like living in a great big house. The apartments have a bedroom, a living area, and a big kitchen. It was quite nice and very clean. It smelled nice too. The people seemed happy there.

My dad is at Guardian Angel Homes. We are pleased with everything there. My dad seems pleased and comfortable. He does not have any complains. My brother is able to monitor him every day and the staff has been very attentive. The physical therapy is good. I liked the atmosphere. My dad has a nice room where he can also go outside. The meals are very, very good. They are served in a formal dining room.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

The staff is extremely friendly and kind to visitors, as well as invested in their residents. There are many activities residents may partake in; usually for larger celebrations residents are encouraged to invite family to the events. All of the facilities at Guardian Angels are beautiful. Each building houses a different type of care, such as assisted living, dementia, and nursing home. Since there are multiple types of living arrangements it allows the opportunity for residents to move to the care they need, yet still be involved with the community they've become a part of.

I am a friend or relative of resident

The staff is friendly and caring. However the management has recently gone down hill. I am removing my relative from their care due to this reason. My relative and another resident and his wife had continuous arguments and the other resident was even physically abusive to my relative. The staff attempted to keep them separated but they refused to move my relative NOR the other resident, they never gave a reason, but it seemed as if they did not want to upset the other resident who came AFTER my relative had been there, as to not lose 2 people who pay them 5000 a month to live there. I do not recommend this facility.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

I have only great things to say about this facility. The in house caregivers are so caring to each person. The office is always helpful. When you walk into the home it is always clean and cheerful, the caregivers are always welcoming and kind. I call several times a day and always pleased with each one. I have been to other facilities in the past and the first step in is a bad smell. You'll never find this to be a fact here. Your person there is always checked on and help with even the slightest need. As I say, Guardian Angel Homes are GREAT. Thanks Carol Willison
