Penrose Harbor didn't have any room vacancies to show, but we saw the lobby area, the dining area, and the nurse's station, and it seemed clean and quiet. The lady who did the tour was pleasant. However, I felt like I was the one talking and asking her the most questions, compared to the other tours I've taken, where the director that works in the place usually is the one giving me most of the information without me having to come up with the questions. The dining area was very small though. That was something I commented on. I thought that it was small for the people they have there. They have activities like puzzles, artwork, some physical therapy available, and an exercise room too.

Penrose Harbor was nice, the staff was very friendly and outgoing. It was just way more expensive than the one we chose. It was new, so it was very clean and nice, the memory care facility was also nice. It was great. They painted the doors like bookshelves so that the patients would think they were just bookshelves and wouldn't go out. There were just little things they did that were nice. Both of the people that we met were nice and friendly, everything was fine about the place. The facility was very nice.

I entered Penrose Harbor Aug.,24 after surgery. I stayed 5 weeks in skilled nursing. The facility was clean, and the staff was super. They provided the best care possible, encouraged me, provided therapy, both occupational and physical, throughout my stay. The weals were of good quality and after we reached stage 2 of the Covid-19 dashboard, I enjoyed the company of other patients in the dining room. The meals were exceptional both in quality of food and preparation. I would recommend this facility to anyone wanting professional care. They provide unlimited activities daily and you are encouraged to join in if you are physically able.

Penrose Harbor had rehab or physical therapy when my mother was there. It was really nice, but their room size was too small for the value. Our overall experience there was very good, I really liked the place, and they have really good food. It's probably the priciest place that we looked at, but they offer a lot. They helped my mother a lot and she loved it there. It was a very nice experience and the staff was very nice. The place was brand new, and when we went there it had just opened, so it was really nice.
