We chose Spring Oak at Culpeper for my friend because of the location. It was in the town that she lived in. I did a cold call there first just to sort of check them out and I instantly fell in love with the place. She loved it too. I love their willingness to show me around during my visit and answer my questions. I have been just overwhelmingly pleased with everything they've done for her. She is in their assisted living and her apartment is quite nice. The building itself has been remodeled and is spacious. It works perfectly and is an ideal space for her. They have activities that go on every single day. Usually, there are at least 3 or 4 things going on every day and she participates in a lot of them. They've been very engaging with her, so she is thriving there. I'm extremely pleased.

I have my parents in one of the double units and they are doing great! My grandfather was a resident 3 years and COVID hit, things went south but my grandfather was on dialysis and could not be moved. Not sure what happened but I saw the place close shortly after he passed away. The year that it was closed it was transformed back into the place my grandfather loved. It is being managed by a very capable understanding women who my parents are very fond of. I would recommend to anyone looking for independence. They are in the beginning stages of staffing and taking on residents but when they are full it will be a blast. Just as my grandfather felt. I wish them the best at filling all the suites and starting a new chapter.

It is very small. It's nothing fancy, but it's clean, and we think we made the right choice. All the people who work there seem to be very dedicated, and we're very pleased with where my husband is. He seems to be settling in nicely, and they've been wonderful.

My father is currently in here. I think everything is great. We don't have any complaints about the place. The staff is great. They have plenty of activities, but my dad is not in the mental state to really participate in any. I don't have any complaints about the security so far, and my dad has never wandered out. He has not complained about the food. I have not seen any problems. They feed them well and accommodate them if they have any particular dietary concerns. If they do not like the food, they will find something better for them. We primarily chose this one not only because of the nice people but because of the location. It is the closest to where I live.
