We visited my husband's aunt in RoseWood Village at Hollymead. It was nice. The people were friendly and helpful. The room was nice. They let her have some of her personal things in there and around her. It had a little kitchenette type thing. No stoves or anything. They had a very nice dining room, a piano, a little library area, and a beauty salon. I thought it was nice. It seemed very nice in there. It was clean. The people who worked there were very friendly. I saw some a few residents milling around, but she wasn't coming out of her room very much at that point. It was decorated nicely. They did have a calendar up with activities every day listed on them. I think she liked the food. She thought she was staying in a hotel, so it was nice. It had several floors. I think all the activities were on the ground level. It was secure. The staff seemed very good. They seemed attentive.

RoseWood Village at Hollymead Town Center was very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were very nice. I was pleased with them. The dining area was satisfactory. They had a pool and a couple of different apartments that I might have had an interest in.

We like RoseWood Village at Hollymead. The physical appearance was very cheery, bright, and decorated for the holidays. We saw many residents out and about. We liked the sales assistant who helped us. She seemed very knowledgeable and was very helpful. We saw some people doing crafts. They had a pool, an exercise room, and several lounges. The room looked very nice. It was a little on the small side. We thought the rooms were a little bit small, but it was very clean. The unit we saw was very tastefully decorated.

RoseWood Village at Hollymead was wonderful. There wasn't anything that I didn't like. The director who showed us all around was very informative, and helpful with some of the questions I asked. She was just very supportive and told me to please call anytime, even if it wasn't that place. If I had any questions, she'd be willing to help, and willing to show us all around. We sat in one of the rooms and chatted. They had activities going on; they were doing bingo at the time that we were there. She showed us the lounges and what they offered in each lounge, flower arranging and different things like that. They were very friendly for me to come in and walk around, and they explained what they did. It was very nice. They had a courtyard, a salon, a gym, and a pool for exercising in the water.

My mother lives here and the care and staff have been exceptional. Everyone is pleasant and cooperative, it seems they want the best for her and have been great to work with. This is the only community that my mom has been at but I couldn't be happier with RoseWood Village - Hollymead. I've read some of the other reviews and the situations described were never anything I have experienced there. I would recommend this community for anyone who wants to feel secure about their parents being cared for.

My dad and mom stayed in Rosewood. At first, I was super impressed with the facility and the staff. They did a really good job helping out my mom shen she needed hospice care and her care was seamless. But in the last year there seems to have been so management changes and the care and attention to the residents seems to have declined. My dad required more care than was needed for independent living and he paid every month for each and every added care. Many times we questioned if her was getting the paid for care that he was paying for. Evidence often pointed to him not getting the services paid for. I had to enter the building after hours one night ( building closes at 8 and I had to come in at 8:30). I rang the bell, talked to the lady on duty several times and waited over 40 minutes for a staff member to come and let me in. I wasn't impressed. My dad has moved to a different facility now. He requested the move because her did not like their food. I am sorry Rosewood. I gave you three stars in honor of the excellent care my mom got four years ago. If I had to base my review on recent events, the stars would have been fewer.

Right now, I am going to consider Rosewood. It is one of my favorites. The appearance is very good, they seem to be on top of who's coming in and what you are there for, and they take care of whatever the needs are of the people coming in. The residents seem happy. Of course by me being a caregiver, I speak to everybody when I go in, but they seem to be happy. I did talk to several of them, and they said that they really like the facility and that they take good care of them. I think right now, Rosewood would be my first choice and probably my only choice.

My father lived in RoseWood for a month. Half of the family decided that they were going to put him in there, and as far as I'm concerned, the only thing they're worried about is the bottom dollar. Too expensive is an understatement. The staff was fine. It's not about the staff; it's about the owners. They can't even afford real eggs. They serve powdered eggs. They took him out to lunch in a restaurant, but for my dad, there was nothing to do except watch Traffic on 29. They got a bunch of activities in there, but that's not my dad. They spent more on making that place look good than they did on procuring decent food.

I went to RoseWood Village to visit. They only had single rooms, which were nice, but they didn't have a living area. They did not have anything available that was big enough for both of my parents, and that was not going to work out for us. It was a very lovely facility, kind of new, and had a shop-like atmosphere. The staff seemed very nice. I did not meet the hands-on staff per se, but more management-type staff. They had an activities calendar with a lot of things on there. Some residents actually had their own vehicles.

I had been at Rosewood Village for a year. What I like best about it was that there are lots of activities there, and the villa is newer and well-decorated. The staff is good. However, they only have one item of food everyday.
