Private pay. Physically beautiful facility-- like a fine hotel. Staff, however, is uneven, especially on weekends. We were not notified that our loved one was in end-stage and receiving morphine and all medications withdrawn because swallowing was no longer possible, even though during those five days before our loved one died, the family could have gotten together for a goodbye visit and made passing less lonely. We were given 20 minutes notice that death was immanent. Entirely, unfair, unprofessional, and unforgiveable.
