My husband is now a resident of Sunridge of Layton. The price was excellent. He has his own private room, and it's a good-sized room. It has carpet in it, which I like. They don't just feed everybody the same food, they feed him a variety of food, and it doesn't look like mush. The food doesn't look like other people's food that may have eating or swallowing problems. They take their time to make sure my husband gets what he needs. They're all very helpful. They're friendly. When we moved in, the TV was up on the wall, and working within an hour that we brought in, so they're just really on top of it, I think. My husband is in memory care, so it's isolated. It's a locked facility, but I like that I can get in and out. I can take him out when I need to, so I like that, too. They have care workers during the day that spend time with them. I have home help coming in and they do physical therapy with him, so it's nice.

We found Sunridge Assisted Living of Layton for our parents. The bedrooms were a fairly good size and it was not too big, but it had a good feeling. It was kind of in the middle, just a nice size, nice feeling, and nice people. The staff was absolutely wonderful and kind, and he was a really good representation of the people there. It was very clean. They had a little outside area that's set up for people to go and sit outside. They had some playground equipment and a little putting green if grandkids come or whatever. They had a couple of rooms with activities. They had a little fitness room and laundry.

I'm living in Sunridge Assisted Living of Layton. I think that they've tried very hard, but I'm very lonely here, I don't have any friends, and I've been here a while. I like my apartment, it's fine, and I like my apartment, it's fine, and I can walk around. They're very attentive, they're very good people. The food is not too good, it's not wonderful, but they have a variety. I would say that the owners are extremely attentive, and they care a tremendous amount for their guests. I think that the services are good, they keep my room very nice, and so I would give them that. Probably the biggest thing for me is I'm lonely, and they haven't been able to attract people that are educated and interesting, and that's too bad.
