My mom moved into Layton Park Memory Care. It was very good. It met our needs and was affordable. She has family that's very close to her (my sister), and she's happy there. It was a really nice place; I was surprised. They have a good staff to patient ratio. The staff did a very good job, and they helped us with the paperwork also to get her in there. When she first got there, they asked what she wanted. They actually changed the menu for that night, for her first night there. She was very happy about that. Her room was clean. They encouraged her to clean it (which I liked). If she's not able to, they clean it for her. They have an activities room. It was mostly crafts and drawing. They have a big TV room. The activities are geared more for her age. She got a pretty big room, and she has her own bathroom. It was a good fit for our family.
