We chose the Villas at Baer Creek in Kaysville based on a friend’s recommendation, the location being near family members, and the intimate atmosphere present in a small facility. Our family members have been there as residents for several months. They prefer to be in their home but recognize and appreciate the care they receive. The management has been easy to work with during the transition from home health to hospice and also during the initial arranging for a cabinet and grab bar to meet specific needs. We are happy with the staff and management and are comfortable with the quantity and quality of the care. They provide stimulating activities and reach out to include the residents. We appreciate the frequent communication with staff/management and the collaborative approach to decision making. We feel fortunate that Baer Creek had availability, when the need came.

The Villas at Baer Creek was very clean and friendly. They have a lot of options for all the residents to do activities. I thought it was a really good option. The staff was very friendly and professional. They have a lady that lives there that I know and she said the food is excellent. It's a newer facility, so it was very nice. They have a bus that takes the residents to different activities twice a week. Everything looked great to me. The dining area was very welcoming.

The Villas at Baer Creek was nice. The rooms were beautiful because they're big enough for a king bed for two people and they have doors that go to the outside and the patio that overlooks the creek. It's very picturesque, but it's very small, so they don't have very many residents and my parents wanted a more social atmosphere. The staff was wonderful. It was very clean.

The Villas is a nice place, but they only can accommodate 16 patients at one time. They're very small. Their care is pretty much one-on-one type, but they are limited in the number of Medicaid patients that they can take there. The place is very nice and brand new. The staff is very friendly, open, and accommodating. It is assisted living, and they have an area where they can treat mental patients as well as those with physical disabilities. They have on-staff CNA and so forth. They seem to be well-equipped, but they're limited as to what they can do with the number of openings that they have. Their rooms were a little bit bigger than most of them. They're also a little nicer because of the newness of the place. There are some views at some of the windows. They're very well put together, and they had it designed very well.

My mother is living at The Villas, and it's nice because it's very small. It's quite new and well maintained. The personnel are very nice, including the CNAs and the director. I haven't tasted the food, but I've seen what my mom's eating, and it looks delicious. They try to do what she wants, go out on outings, have lots of people come in to share their talents and entertain. They have crafts, a family Halloween party, and family night at Thanksgiving.
