I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My friend stayed at Woodland Springs Nursing Center. They did not provide good service there. They don't have anybody that is in charge at the nursing home. They don't have a social worker. They had an administrator that tried to do the social work. And you can never contact anybody when you call. You just get a recording, and if you try to complain about something, it doesn't help. They did provide good meals. But as far as the care, my friend had a lot of problems with the staff taking care of her. She said she would hear them like they were having parties or something like laughing and carrying on. It was hard to get them to come to the room to help her. I don't think they had activities. My friend didn't mention any real activities that they had going on for the people. She spent a lot of time in her room, and it was hard to get them to get her out of bed. She spent maybe the whole day in bed and did not come in and get her up. They did therapy on her. They did work with her in therapy. Its location is not a good area in town. They have a big black fence around like a 7-foot wrought-iron fence. They were supposed to have the gate shut at night and they never shut the gates, so somebody could just walk in. They are cheaper, but they're cheap because they're not that great. They could have a quality administrator that takes care of the place instead of letting the aides run the place. They need an administrator and a social worker who cares about keeping the place running. They could make sure that the staff doesn't seem like they're having a party at night instead of taking care of their clients. They could make sure that they are not getting mad whenever a client turns their water over or messes their bed up. I say that because the elderly lady that was in the room with my friend, they were very ugly to her because she turned her water over.
