My aunt has moved to Morada Victoria. I really like the staff and how pleasant they are and helpful. All the residents have been really super nice and pleasant, too. Every staff member that assisted me was very, very helpful. The rooms are very nice and clean. Everything is really nice. They have different activities for the residents to use. They have game rooms, card rooms, puzzle rooms, libraries, choir practice rooms, and chapels, and they're all really nice. I have not tried their food, but my aunt really likes it. The maintenance of the place is excellent. My aunt also likes their activities. It's about everybody else's prices, so the value for money is OK.

I'm so sad to have to leave this review. My daughter and I moved our family member here because we were not satisfied with the care he was getting at another facility. We were assured that he could remain here for the rest of his life, but that is not the case. He is on the last stages of early-onset Alzheimer's. We were called and told to move him because the staff were small, and he was too big. They said it was a safety issue. He has been in the same shape he is currently in since before Christmas. He is not eating, and is shrinking daily. He hasn't been a "big" man since he became bedridden. Regardless of what is said upon move in, they are able to evict them with 30 days written notice. They are saying they don't need to give written notice because this is an "emergency" situation. Since when? He has been in his current condition for three months! Regardless of the legality of their actions, this is cruel to implement this policy on a dying man and his children. The move may be enough to end what is left of his life. He should be allowed the peace to pass where he has been for the last three years. The three years went really well. He was well cared for, and he enjoyed the interaction and the food. I hate to judge the staff, as some have been excellent. However, they should ensure the staff can do their job - which must include moving bigger individuals. Please be aware of what you may face as your loved one reaches the end of their life.

I went to look at Morada Victoria. I didn't get a feeling of friendliness. They were nice enough, but it just felt very cold, kind of businesslike, and not very personable. The layout was okay. There was nothing about the facility that I thought was outstanding. They had a room for Sunday services, for exercise, and a room where all the residents came out to eat.

I had a family member in Assisted Living for several years. I never had any doubt about how well she was cared for. The staff always treated us like family. My family member has since passed away, but I still visit with some of the staff. I don't know what I would have done without Tish, the nurse, she was always available to help me and guide me in the best decisions for my loved one. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for Morada Victoria.

It was a nice facility, but my stepdad said it was more like a motel. He didn't like the closeness of it, being all contained in one building. The people were very friendly. It was very clean, and they were in the process of doing some renovations because of the hurricane last year, but it was still nice and wasn't messy during the renovation. The grounds were fine. It was a little too cozy in the way it's laid out. The apartments were connected to each other.

I was interested in the Alzheimer's care, but they don’t take Medicaid. It’s very nice. It’s a totally locked down facility because they worry about the residents walking out. It’s much more upscale. Their lounges have nice couches, nicer chairs, and flat screen TVs. It’s nicer amenities than the nursing home, but it’s all private pay. I thought it was a lovely place, and the people were very, very helpful. I really appreciated everything that they were able to help us with.

My mother is in their independent side right now. I chose the place because it's close to my house. I love all the staff and they were helpful enough in guiding me. I had another relative that lives in there and I always like the facility in general.
