Our loved one was in the Memory Care unit at Seasons Nacogdoches. Lydia, the Assistant Manager, truly cares for all the residents and is 100% dedicated to them. Excellent care was provided as well as support for family members. Our case was a unique one, but there was constant communication with Seasons regarding our loved one's well-being. During my various visits, I saw the Seasons staff treating the residents with love and respect and as a member of their family. All staff members were very aware and knowledgeable of each resident's likes and dislikes. The facility is clean, spacious and secure. I would highly recommend Seasons Nacogdoches.

I toured Seasons Alzheimer's & Assisted Care - Nacogdoches Road. It was great. It has everything I was looking for, especially the in-house medical care. It's not just about housing and helping them go to the bathroom; that's what I love about it. The room is completely furnished and a decent size. The grounds are beautiful and always undergoing remodeling, which is great, making it more accessible for the patients. The staff was fabulous. The owner himself was there, and having that experience right onsite was awesome. They have a cook in every building who helps with all the meals. There are several spots where residents can go out and walk around to get some exercise.

We toured Seasons Alzheimer's & Assisted Care. It's a small community, but I think that's what brings the charm to it because there are not that many people in there and they'll pay attention to your person. The staff was very knowledgeable. The apartments were well-thought-out. This is a cabinet for clothes and whatnot that's built-in, so you don't have to worry about extra furniture and things. They're a nice size. They're easily accessed as far as getting around them. It was a well-kept complex. The dining area was very easy to access, very bright, and airy looking.

Very pleased with the activities available for residents. Especially the music, gardening, and activities which help their memory, and encourage them to move around. The caregivers are very organized and take very good care of my love one. The care givers do a good job of letting me know how my love one is doing, or if there are any concerns. I am thankful the care givers assisting my love one with using the phone so we can talk during the evening. My love one really enjoys the food.

Seasons Alzheimer's & Assisted Care was really elegant. They were really nice. They were beyond my expectations. The staff who assisted me during the tour was very informative and very convincing. I didn't try the food, but it smelled very good. They have a lot of activities, I wouldn't even be able to name them all, they had so many. The rooms were very roomy. They were very nice and roomy; they were beyond expectations. The facility was very good and very nice. They were in the middle of adding a new building.

My aunt has been in the Seasons Alzheimer's & Assisted Care - Nacogdoches Road for two months now. The place is very clean, they have good staffing, and they take care of the people. The staff is efficient but we're having problems with the visitation right now and I'm sure it's COVID related, but we would like to be able to visit her more. We can't help that there are time limits, but we're stiiving it our best. Her room is very pretty, always clean, and doesn't smell. It is well taken care of and she's very happy most of the time there, but when she's not, it's usually because she is sundowning, which is normal with dementia. She says she enjoys the food but I've never seen what they feed them. I just know she's quite happy with it. She has told me about the activities they've done, like they have coloring, music, exercises, and they were doing balloon volleyball the other day, which she enjoyed. The place is beautiful. She loves the courtyard and being outside. It's terraced and the patio is beautiful. We chose this place for her because it's within two miles of our home and they had a steady price. Plus, they were supposed to be trying to find her a double room, which is much closer to our budget. They haven't yet, but they've put it down in the contract that the set price would not change even after taking it.

My dad was a resident of Seasons Alzheimer's and Assisted Care. They were fabulous. They were very kind and gentle with my dad. They seemed to really care about him. He had dementia and they just worked with him tremendously well. He was only there for about three or four months. The staff members were just the best. If he was doing something funny or whatever, they always would take videos or pictures and they would send them to us. They would call occasionally so that he could talk to us when he was having a really good day or if he was having a particularly bad day, they thought that it might help if he has some interaction with us. They were just absolutely phenomenal. Where I had him before, they had a very difficult time getting him to take showers. Arlene figured it out that he was afraid of the water and so she was just very gentle with him and got him to take his showers. She was just really very sweet with him. They were very cognizant of whenever he was having medical issues or if his nails needed to be trimmed, they noticed right away, and they made special arrangements for that. They were definitely on top of things. A lot of activities were shut down because of Covid, but I know that the staff did things with them. My dad loved to walk, so they took him out for walks and things like that. Normally, they have outside activities where they take them places. I was never inside except to take his stuff in, and the facility seemed very clean.

My grandmother was a resident of Seasons Alzheimer's. Her room was nicely decorated and always immaculate. The staff treated my family like we were family. I would have to say that the activity director was my favorite staff member. She opted to not have an office to encourage residents to be active and socialize, instead of being isolated in their rooms. My grandmother's favorite activity was bingo and of course when they had spa days.

My dad was in Seasons Alzheimer's (Nacogdoches Road) but he didn't do well there. We paid about $10,000 for him to be there for 3 weeks but it didn't work out. It was a nice community and the people were very friendly, but it seems like memory care isn't what they specialize. My dad is still very mentally aware and it was too much for my dad to see all these patients not being treated with dignity. They treated them like they're babies or children, not like they're adults that are ill. He was there for 3 weeks but he only took 2 showers because they couldn't accommodate him. They made it very clear that they could accommodate him when we moved in. They promised a lot of things that they weren't able to keep. He was uncomfortable with the shower chair and they said they would order him another one but they never did. And they were supposed to give him a shower every day or every other day but they only did twice the whole time he was there. Some of the staff members were really friendly, but some weren't. Like the main nurse, the manager and the supervisor on the floor were all very nice and I felt like they cared for my father very much. But the CNAs, and the people that were a little bit lazy, they wouldn't treat the patients very well and when they spoke to them they would cuss at them. My father said that the residents, his roommate in particular, would talk to the girls ugly because they're sick, but the CNAs would talk back to him exactly the same way. The place itself was clean and nice, it was beautiful and we didn't have any problems with that. They did a lot of activities with the residents that chooses to participate.

This place is wonderful! This is the 3rd facility my mother in law has lived in. I am shocked how much the facilities can differ. She was kicked out of her previous facility stating her needs exceeded their ability. Seasons promised us they would meet her needs and they have delivered! The staff is extremely attentive and positive! The food is very good! My mother in law is being taken care of extremely well! I am so thankful they had a room available for her!! I have seen a lot of facilities and this is by far the best I’ve ever seen.

My good friend is a resident of Seasons Care and Assisted Living, and I would like the San Antonio community to know what a supportive staff and facility this place is. Whenever I drop in to visit, she is surrounded by people who keep her engaged in activities and conversation. Sometimes we go to her room to have quiet conversation and lunch, and even then the staff checks in regularly to see if we need anything. The staff also makes an effort to lift her spirits by seeing that she wears the bright colors she loves and by keeping pretty flowers in her hair. Extra touches like these truly make a difference for the resident and their family and friends. Whenever I leave, I feel she is in capable and caring hands.

Nacogdoches location: I believe is wonderful here! I am extremely impress with all the Seasons staff they are just amazing. Caring, compassionate, patient, giving, kind sweet, the rest goes on and on. I know it is difficult and challenging to work here, but each staff has a gift to do this job. I mentioned all the staff because I don't know the names individually. The truth is that all of them show such great attributes. I can't say this enough they all love what they do and it really shows . It is an honor to have my friend with Seasons. Thank you for all the love and kindness.

My mother is going to Seasons Alzheimer's & Assisted Care. More than anything, what I like is the fact that they have one nursing staff for every four patients. I have two children that live in Nacogdoches, and they can get to see my mom a whole lot faster. They serve all three meals. They either have a van or I can come and take her myself to doctors' appointments. Including activities, they also have a place to have your hair and your nails done. It’s a small community and all the rooms are private. They have a bathroom in each room and a shower for every four rooms. Every one of the staff members stopped, introduced themselves, and told me exactly what they did and what their function was. I liked everything about it.

My beloved brother was placed in Seasons Alzheimer's & Assisted Care. His needs were many, requiring to be given to him on an individual needs basis. These needs were not only met, but exceedingly met. The owner of this facility is an incredibly devoted individual. Devoted to providing quality care to patient's who are afflicted with this devastating illness. Caretakers have been carefully chosen and selected to work in this facility. During my brothers stay at Seasons, I observed many positive things. The caretaker's were always very loving, caring, gentle and patient with the patient's and their needs. The timeliness of meds, changings and turnings were always met and delivered on time. The cleaning of floors and laundry is performed on a daily basis. The food is delicious. Only natural fresh foods and ingredients are used to prepare meals. Seasons was a blessing for my loved one. I will always be thankful and will never forget the devoted, devotion of the ownership and caretakers that so lovingly cared for my brother. If this terrible disease were to befall me tomorrow, I would want my family to take me to San Antonio and place me in the care of this facility. Knowing I would be in a safe place and cared for by these wonderful caretakers.

My father loves his home and enjoys the activities and food. Having my father at Seasons was and is an answer to prayer. Just wish I would have found it first. Having an OK experience followed by a terrible 3-day stay at another facility before finding Seasons was a nightmare. The staff is top notch because the manager won't put up with OK standards, only the best or they are gone. I trust them with my daddy's life. What more of an endorsement do I need to share. I also love that this would be his last place to live. Many places make them move if they have issues. Issues? None is too much for great staff. I want to live here if I needed to. I think they are saving me a room. It's family. I'd love to live at Seasons now. I love the staff.

Seasons Alzheimer's & Assisted Care facility is awesome. The staff is wonderful and caters to all their patients. Since moving my dad and my father in law to the facility, things have positively changed. I am very impressed with the care the staff provides, the atmosphere and the cleanliness of the facility. In addition, my dad and my father in law are happy with the food and the many daily activities. It also removes my personal stress knowing that both of them are getting the best possible care. I can contact the facility and Mona at any time.

Seasons Alzheimer’s Care and Assisted Care was very nice. It was clean. The people I met there seemed like brilliant people. It was pretty and nice but not quite as good as the one my aunt is in right now. The set up was fine and very clean, but it had more of a hospital feel. The rooms seemed nice.

Since my Mother's diagnosis, I have lived by one rule: Those who are forgetting should not be forgotten. And so the journey began of finding a "home" for my Mom where she would be cared for with dignity, compassion and, with hope, a lot of love. After extensively researching options, I chose Seasons. This team, led by owner Mona, is dedicated and fiercely devoted to the care of Alzheimer's patients in a most holistic manner. Their clinical needs not withstanding, Seasons offers care that is also spiritual and emotionally healing. From art and music therapy to the regular animal visits to walks on their secure property, private rooms and freshly prepared meals...every step, every aspect of care at Seasons is focused on optimizing the well being and happiness of the Alzheimer's patient. The team goes above and beyond to assure that everyone is cared for like they family, and indeed, it is because the patients are in fact more than just a patient - they are Seasons Family and cared for as such. I could not have chosen a more caring and compassionate group for my Mom - their recent award from Caring.com is only a hint of the true depth and magnitude of their talents and kindness. Mom is cared for with love and her dignity is assured and advocated for everyday. I only wish that every dementia patient could have this experience and this awesome level of care. I am reminded daily of how lucky we are to have found Mona and her team, and the smile I see on my Mom's face is the validation I need to know we have made the best decision. After all, you only ever want the best for the person who not only loved you best in life but for whom your heart beats. Kudos to Mona and the Seasons Team, for showing us everyday that Those Who Are Forgetting Should Not Be Forgotten. My love and thanks to you all. With much respect, Patricia F. Pennsylvania

Not the best place to leave your loved ones. They do not care of the patients needs like the way they appear they say they will. I have visited a friends loved one there and I have seen how staff is not very professional.

This is the third facility my father has been in, when I looked initially it was a waiting list, so we had to choose a different facility. After only two 1/2 days we had to move my dad, it was the worst experience ever...so I called Seasons owner Mona up, and she happened to have an opening, thank God! My dad has been there six months, and I'm so grateful! Mona is very picky about her staff and it shows, and ratio higher than any place we toured. I'm very happy my dad has the care he does, they take into consideration each clients special needed, and you can see it in the care! God bless the staff and especially Mona for doing this hard job out of their hearts. My dad loves it there! Oh, food is all home cooked an appropriate for their age and sensitivities! Highly recommend Seasons for anyone having to make this difficult decision for a family member. Also, thought shared room would be an issue for my dad, he loves it, it's been a non issue!!!

My husband has been a patient at Seasons Alzheimer's and Assisted Care for the past six months. Our experience here has been a very positive one. The staff consistently provides care that is thoughtful and personalized to the patient. The owner, Mona, is committed to educating and supporting all her staff. In- service education is provided for all of the staff regarding patient care, medication instruction and behavior management. As a result, the staff takes pride in the care they provide. Seasons is an inviting and environmentally attractive facility for the patients, their families and the staff. It's clean, has delicious food and seconds are available. On our first visit to the facility, the patients were outside on the porch participating in dancing with the staff. Everyone was clearly having fun. We would highly recommend this facility.

I did visit Seasons, and it was very nice. Mona was the person who walked us through -- I think she is the owner -- and she was very nice; everything went really well. We liked it very much; it just turned out to be too expensive for our needs. The apartments were nice; you put your own furniture in them. You kind of pick and choose what you want. They were an adequate size. I would not want a semi-private room; I would only want a private room. The price for a semi-private would be somewhat less expensive. There are people that I worked with that only want a private room. The facility itself was very nice. I did look at the kitchen, and everything there is home-cooked; it was very well done. They’re building a new facility.

I have moved my mother for the third time in ten months! Thank goodness, I found Season's!! Their food is amazing!! Nothing frozen or canned. I especially like that they only have 15 residents and the staff ratio is one to every four residents. This means my mom is changed often which was very important to me! The facility is very clean and very pretty inside! The staff and owner are so sweet to my mom and the other residents. This third move has given me so much peace, I no longer have to worry 24/7 about how she is being treated. I do like to visit my mom at least 3 days a week but if I can't make it I don't worry because I know she is enjoying herself and the staff loves her!

Seasons has a beautiful, comfortable, warm atmosphere that's the immediate attraction as you walk in the door. The smiles from the staff and the cheerfulness of everyone you meet, makes you know that this place has a happy, caring, and loving environment. The staff/patient ratio is outstanding! Everyone is involved in patient care from the owner to the cook, as they take the time to visit during meals, and are involved during the varied, interesting activities offered to the residents. Each staff member treats their patients just like their own family member. Since Seasons is a small facility, it is like family, and you do feel like you are home.
