My mother moved into Carol Ann's Home in December. It's a very clean place. It looks relatively new, so it's very well kept up. They do an excellent job there. They don't have a lot of residents, so attention is given to everybody. Her room is fine for what she needs. It's a little room with a hospital bed that they provide. It has a little bit of a wardrobe for her clothes and personal stuff, a TV, and chairs. I've also brought a few little things from home. For her right now, their memory care program is fine. The residents get together in the main lobby room, and they have little arts and crafts. They want my mom to socialize with the other people there. They kind of make them try to attend all the breakfast, lunch and dinner, which I think is very good. The staff has been great. They have a lot because it's a 24-hour shift. I think I've met everybody and I love them. The food seems good. They've got an in-house chef.

After disastrous experiences at other facilities, we found the brand-new Carol Ann’s Home on Wayward (her 3rd location) in July 2017. It was the breath of fresh air we needed. They specialize in Memory Care and for almost 4 years it was Mother’s home. Carol and her manager, Elizabeth are great at their business. They with their staff take the time to learn each resident’s history, likes and dislikes, and things that make them comfortable. The house is nicely furnished and cheery. The residents’ rooms are kept clean and fresh. The meals are excellent and prepared by the professional chef. Individual preferences are accommodated. There are activities to enjoy even during Covid. The staff polishes nails, plays movies and music, has bingo games and helps with art projects. Pre covid and hopefully soon again there were animal visits, musicians, exercise classes, and other entertainers. We are ever grateful to Carol Ann’s Home and recommend them whole-heartedly.

After my 92 year old mother had spent a few days in the hospital last August and was ready to be discharged, I became aware I needed to find both hospice care and a new home for her. I called hospice company that had good reviews and they in turn put me in touch with a home locator service. The next morning my sister and I met with Laura from the service to look at a couple of possibilities. The second place we visited was Carol Ann's Home on Wayward. After touring the facility and meeting the owner and her staff, my sister and I agreed this was the place we wanted our mother to move to. That was a great decision! My mother was discharged that same day and relocated to Carol Ann's Home. My mother's need for hospice was because she could not eat any food, liquid diet only. Within a couple of weeks there my mother started eating more solid foods. I was allowed to visit her once a week in an outdoor setting. During the first few visits I could tell she was getting stronger and she would always tell me "don't worry about me, they take really good care of me here". It must have been true because she looked more happy and energized than I had seen her in a few years. This was confirmed by her hospice case manager who stated her improvement was due to the staff in the building and not him. As of late my mother has been having memory issues, but she is still strong and maintains she is happy there. As her situation changes I don't worry because I know she is in good hands. Thank you Carol and your staff for providing great care at your facility. I especially want to thank Shelisa "Shelly" for her hard work, and on going patience and understanding.

I had my father at another facility before coming here. I am so glad we found Carol Ann's Home before dad passed. The last facility was recommended to us, and to say we were not happy is a huge understatement. Let's get into it the move was short notice which they were able to accommodate with ease. The staff was always friendly and helpful with our needs. They had many different activities while we were there but my dad was not able to really join in due to his health. If I had known about this place sooner I know he would of been very involved. The rooms are all private nicely done. The cook is amazing really enjoyed the good food. I would recommend this place anytime thank you Carol Ann and all the great staff.

I stopped by this past week to view the Wayward location. I liked the look and feel of the building. The rooms were very nice I really the the ones facing the outside courtyard. I am looking for my mom, and feel when the time is right this would be a good fit. The cook was making something that smelled amazing, staff told me he's a great cook the menu looked good to me.

I have the privilege of visiting this facility very frequently. Each time, the residents are always being attended to by the great staff. Whether it’s mealtime or during one the many activities prepared for the residents, the team at Carol Ann’s is always engaged with them. In addition, the facility is always spotless! Carol Ann, her manager Elizabeth and the staff are amazing!
