My mom has just moved into Camino Real a few weeks ago. It's going very well. They're very responsive and very helpful to her. Her room is nice. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. She hasn't talked about food that much, but it sounds like they're trying out different things, getting feedback from the residents, and making adjustments regarding the food that is being served. For activities, they will be taking her out on outings. They have games that everyone is associated with, and then they have a central location where they can sit and watch movies together.

Camino Real was a nice facility. They showed me a couple of different room options and what they offer for those rooms. They're spacious. I went in the middle of the day and there was not a lot of staff that I saw around, but they notified me that they didn't have quite a lot of residents there, and they were soon going to offer Medicaid options. Other than that, the staff that I met were very friendly. I also met two residents. It looked like a nice place. It was very clean and very nice inside. The tour guide was very well prepared. They had a walk-in shower and two of the rooms had their own bathrooms while one of them was a shared bathroom, but the shared room was very spacious.

I went to Camino Real. The facility was clean. It was well-maintained. The rooms were nice and the budget seemed to be reasonable. The person who gave us the tour did a fantastic job showing us everything, going over everything, and describing everything. Everything is onsite like the laundromat, the meals and all that, and the common area. They offer rides to go to H-E-B and Walmart and things like that. So they make it convenient.

The staff at Camino Real is very friendly. The atmosphere is very homey and very comforting. The rooms are large. There's plenty of outdoor and indoor space. I liked the way the dining room is set up for the meals and the things that the residents have like mini-fridges in their room for their own personal use (if they want snacks or sodas or whatever, they can keep some in their room). They also have their own microwaves in their room. It's not a full kitchen, but that makes it very people-friendly, even for somebody who needs assisted living, and I think my friend would be very comfortable and very happy once she's there. Because I visited on a weekend, there's not as much of a staff, but the people that were there were very helpful when they explained about their routines and their activities and all the things that are available as they took me around. You can work in their garden if you want to or do art if you want to. There's so much for them to do. They are not just sitting around with nothing to do and nothing to think about. From looking at their menu and just smelling the food, I think the food is great. I am very, very pleased and very, very impressed with the entire facility and the staff.

I went to Camino Real. It was great. It had studios and even different suites, like if they had two people in one. The rooms were very spacious. They had pretty much everything inside. They had a mail room. They had a therapy room. They also had the facility where they go eat. Everything was so big and so spacious. It was a lot to look at. And they do have a calendar of events for the residents every month. They have something every day during the week. So, they have activities for them. Everything is good. So, I think the location will be good for my dad. The staff was very nice. He answered all the questions. If I had any questions, he answered or directed me where to go or who to speak to insurance-wise. It was good information. They do have three meals a day and they even have their own little kitchenette in their room. And if they want to bring their own stuff, they can. I saw the little menu book they had out and if the residents didn't like what they had there, they had an option from a different list. The listing looks great. I would eat it.
