I am so glad I decided on Agape Heritage Home for my mother. The manager and staff at Agape Heritage Home provided high quality care and support to her during her stay. Having not experienced the need for assisted living for my mom before, I found the manager, Dennis, to be a truly caring, kind and trustworthy soul, and he was helpful throughout my mom's stay, providing constructive guidance when needed during this stressful time. I am impressed by its cleanliness (one of her doctors came by to visit and was also highly impressed by its quality) and its small patient to caretaker ratio was perfect for my mom. She got skillful bedside attention from the staff. The food was fine for what she needed and is prepared on site, and since she was unable to groom and feed herself, the staff attended to those necessary tasks to our satisfaction. This facility allows for more personal attention than the bigger facilities. The environment is like a private home, with private and semi-private bedrooms, living room, and kitchen, staffed with qualified and caring professionals. The facility is properly secure, so I felt my mom was safe at all times. I truly appreciate the wonderful care my mom received here and I highly recommend Agape Heritage Home to those families seeking high quality assisted living care for their loved ones in a peaceful, secure, clean, and caring environment.

Agape Heritage Home was affordable. It looked like a regular home. It's bright inside. It's not dark or anything like that. They are conscious about COVID and making sure that their residents are safe and healthy. They have one single room and shared rooms, but there was no wall or anything. It had a little curtain to separate the two people from the bed. The staff showed me just the kitchen area. I felt a little bit rushed, but that's all he had to offer. He had a list of activities that he showed, but they more primarily care for those who need skilled living. It doesn't seem to gear too much on memory care. I didn't really interact with any of the staff, other than the man during the tour.

I had a good experience with Agape Heritage Home. I liked the cleanliness, they were very friendly, and they had a lot of activities, but my mother would not be able to participate in their activities at this time. The level of care seemed very good, the people seemed very good, and the building itself was beautiful, clean, and very orderly.

It was odd to me that Agape Heritage Home is in a residential area. It did not seem like a facility. My overall visit was good. The people were nice, and they were clean. I am just worried that being in a residence, the neighbors are gonna protest. Then we will get stuck without a place for mom.

Agape Heritage Home is a house with six bedrooms. The place is good. However, we didn't get in the door for a tour; we just interviewed the person who opened the door. We couldn't tell what was going on inside there. There were two people taking care of six patients. They didn't let us in for security reasons, which we understood, but I don't want my mom to be taken care of by only two people.

This is an assisted living facility that's Alzheimer's certified. They handle all stages of Alzheimer's here, including hospice. They also care for residents who've had a stroke or some kind of disability. It's in the Southwest part of Houston, near Sugarland--a family oriented, higher middle class neighborhood. It's also very accessible to the expressway. It's a very homey place but large enough that residents don't feel like they're bumping into one another. They have both private and semi-private rooms. They also have a good call system in the room for those with early dementia. The staff is very good. They keep the care ration at 4 residents to one caregiver at max. And the certified nurse's aides are very attentive. The food is good, too. It's prepared on site. I had a meal there when I was visited, and it was really good. They have an assistant who comes in four times a week to lead activities, and they have a good program: outings, performers come in, that kind of thing. And they have pet therapy, hair and nail care, and church services there. One other pro: It's very affordable for its location.
