We have innovative emergency response system software including fall detection and prevention notifications, health tracking, physician/family/friends notifications enabled devices, location tracking for wandering and Dementia, and help emergency help button. All-access points, entrances, and exits are secured and monitored only accessible by authorized individuals.

We do not currently accept live-in pets, but we highly recommend pet visitation and are huge fans of pet therapy ! We have a spacious backyard that is perfect for pet visitations and activities.

We routinely monitor and immediately update all authorized family members and care providers of any change in status of our residents level of care and any concerns we may have. We work with the families to provide feedback as often as they would like in the method that is most convenient to them.

All care staff are required to have appropriate licensure to provide care such as RN & LVN, CNA, HHA, Medication Aide Certification, etc. including specialized training for memory care. In addition to licensure, there will be initial staff training and development provided by the facility manager. We also provide yearly continuing education & advancement opportunities.

All staff will receive initial training for dementia/memory care and yearly educational updates will be provided thereafter.

Our residents will enjoy a variety of health/wellness programs to maintain a healthy lifestyle these include: strength/cardio training, yoga, meditation, pet therapy, art, music therapy, dancing, karaoke, table tennis, poker, gardening, book club, social events with family and more. We have a number of activities specifically designed to enhance memory. Such as Nintendo Wii interactive activity games, memory games on iPad devices, also a number of live activities such as learning new languages in addition to physical exercises to help promote memory and brain activity.

Our community is designed to look and feel like home. We provide help to seniors (generally 55yrs old and up) who require assistance with activities of daily living but also want to be active and social. Our residents will enjoy spending time in our beautiful, spacious backyard, movie area, fitness studio, technology/library center, dining area, living area and beauty salon.

We have location tracking for wandering and dementia. All-access points are secured and monitored. Only authorized residents & staff are able to get into our home or let approved visitors in or out.

We do not have any special affiliation with any particular hospital, but we will have doctors and nurses on-call when needed.

This depends on the number of residents being cared for. Our day care staff-to-resident ratio is 1:6-7 and night is 1:10-12.

We are in walking distance from CVS pharmacy and we are surrounding mostly by residential communities.

We are happy to help coordinate transportation services for any or residents who needs help in moving around. We work with an independent transportation company to provide these services to our residents.

We are in walking distance from CVS (which is located right in front of us), neighborhood church, pizzeria, barber shop, dry cleaning store, mexican eatery and a newly built HEB.

Our chef will interview each of our resident's to ensure we incorporate meals that are pleasing to them in a way that is both healthy and delicious. Menu's will be not only be health conscious/dietician approved, but we will also continually keep things exciting by trying new and different recipes.

Our day care staff-to-resident ratio is 1:6-7 and night is 1:10-12.

We will assess each resident to determine the types of interventions needed & this may include: instructions on cutting food into smaller pieces or serving softer food if necessary, serving food with dining aids to make eating easier, sip assists, observing for signs of dehydration, and offering fluids through the day.

Initially, there will be an in-house assessment performed by a nurse in addition to a medical evaluation performed by a doctor before admission. Residents will be assessed 3 months after admission and then every 6 months thereafter. Re-assessments will also occur anytime there is a significant change in the resident's level of care. Family members/healthcare providers will be updated on these changes.
