Alders Magnolia is a 55-plus active independent place. We have been here for 15 months now. We're pleased with what they have. They don't have transportation and they don't have meals, but currently, we don't need that, so they've got what we need. They have activities. They have a new activity director, and she's very good. They have the main hall and there are tables. If you eat down there, you certainly could. But we generally eat in our apartment. The apartments are nice. Kitchens are well laid out and well-stocked. They have good equipment. Of course, you do your own cooking. There are several different apartments. They have a two-bedroom-two-bath, and they have a one-bedroom with something that could be used as an office. The interaction with the staff is very good. They're very helpful and able to take care as far as any questions you have. They get to very quickly with repairs. There are two repairmen and they're very nice. We're very happy with what they do. We go to some of the activities. We went to things where the people meet in the main hall in the afternoons. We go down there sometimes. They have a swimming pool and a bocce ball court. They pretty much have activities for people my age. We have a dog. There are quite a few pets here. There are a bunch of dogs, and a lot of people have cats. I would rate the value for money as very good. It's going to be higher than a regular apartment but it's good considering what you get and what they catered to. It's very good.

I toured Alders Magnolia and they have a utility room. There is more than one elevator access to the upper floors. I did run into a couple of residents and they were very friendly. That made me feel good. My downer is the hallway, it's a little dark. Other than that, the place was nice. The staff is awesome. She was honest with me and let me know that she was new. She made me feel welcome. They give me a one-night complimentary ticket to come spend the night and interact with other residents. They have a pool table. They have a movie theater and if you decide to go downstairs, you can sit and drink some coffee and relax.

Alders Magnolia is an apartment complex for 55+. I loved it. I wanted to move in. It's a beautiful location. It's got all kinds of amenities. The people were so friendly. Their activities were fun. I couldn't find anything wrong with it. It was a fabulous place. The staff was very good, knowledgeable, nice, and helpful. There were no meals provided there. The facility was wonderful and well insulated. They had every amenity you could think of. They had a massage parlor place, a hairdresser place, exercises, activities, a bocce ball court, a putting green, and a swimming pool. It was a wonderful, beautiful place. They had a fabulous movie room. They had a place where you could do all sorts of stuff. It was really, really nice.
