The kitchen staff and servers are the best!! They are all so caring. Tammy and Moriah, our co-directors are two of the hardest, best and caring directors! The activities are engaging and there is plenty to keep you occupied. The food has been good under our new chef Michael. Over all this is a good place to make new friends and enjoy a family community atmosphere.

Our tour experience of Verena at Leander was very, very good. The facilities are immaculate. It's certainly a nice place to live. However, the location is not the best for me, but the facilities are very nice. The rooms were much better than I first anticipated. They're very modern, clean, well taken care of, and very nice. We had lunch there yesterday, and the food was good. The selections on the menu were good, too. There was quite a variety. The staff member who gave the tour did a very good job. She was very thorough, she answered all our questions, and she went out of her way to give us a very nice tour.

We toured Verena at Leander. I love it very much. I was very impressed by the three floors. It was magnificent. It was brand new. I thought it was very lovely. The only drawback was that it was a little farther. It's a 20-minute drive from Georgetown. I'm very happy and I think they have a very nice place. I don't believe it needed renovation because I thought it was gorgeous as always or maybe it was already completed when we were there. I didn't stay for a meal, but the food I saw there was excellent. I naturally went there once by myself, and then I took my son there and his wife and everything looked magnificent. The staff does a very good job. I believe they have a pool table, which I love to play.

Verena at Leander has more amenities to offer than average, and everything was spotlessly clean. The staff and the residents that we talked to were very enthusiastic about the place. They have a saltwater pool that they keep at 92 degrees, which is just perfect for my therapy. They have an Italian chef (I'm going to lunch with them today). Overall, the apartments were just really nice. I would love to live there.

Verena at Leander was very professional. It was a very clean environment, very open, and airy. The staff was very attentive in showing us around. They spent two hours with us, helping us find the right location for Mom. The pool is amazing. The dining room seemed very comfortable and the rooms are very spacious and well decorated.

One of the big things I liked about Verena at Leander was their saltwater swimming pool. I am supposed to be taking physical therapy and that's one of the things that I'm supposed to be doing, and it's a beautiful place. I liked the fact that the dining area was like a restaurant. The food we had there was awesome and they have a waitress that brings the food to you and takes your order. They have two different chefs, one used to cook at Disney World. The price was a whole lot better than what I'm paying right now. It's about $3,000 cheaper. It's going to be closer to my son, too. The lady that did the tour was awesome. She was very knowledgeable, caring, and worked hard to make sure that we got what we needed. They have transportation, they go out on outings twice a week if you want to go, and they take you to the doctor. If you want to go somewhere else, they have a guy there that comes and gets you and takes you somewhere else. You don't have to go on the bus.

The apartments are spacious, very convenient, plenty of closet space. Marvelous staff, very efficient, caring, pleasant and understand the elderly. We have physical education and excercise at least three times a day. We enjoy new card games, arts and crafts, ie: knitting, stichery, embroidery, cinema several times a week. Residents are very friendly, and I love interacting with them. And now for my favorite. The food is excellent. Our chefs introduce many internations dishes as well as down home cooking. I would ecourange anyone looking for a good home to check out Verena at Leander.

The facilities at Verena at Leander Independent Living were very modern and very nice. The rooms were very spacious, laid out really well, and very clean. It was a fairly new facility. The staff was not as friendly as the other place I toured, nor as informative. The lady that facilitated the tour spent about 20 minutes with me and seemed like she was in a rush. She was distracted and not very forthcoming with information. The residents seemed kind of grumpy. When she did engage with the residents, it seemed kind of forced. All of that made a pretty big impression on me. It's not a place that I would want to see my father in. For that reason, I did not recommend that facility to my dad, even though it was nice. It was a great facility and modern, but there's obviously a lot more to that community. There were a few residents playing a card game, maybe five or six. A couple of residents were walking around. I didn't really see a lot of residents out of their rooms doing activities. The lady just gave me a really short tour. She wasn't rude; she was kind of cold, rushed, and not very informative. I would suggest that they train their staff to be more welcoming, compassionate, and engaging wit at least the visitors.

We toured and we didn't like it as well as the other place we've been to. It was more than what my mother-in-law needed. The staff was excellent but it was more institutional, it didn't feel as warm and friendly I guess. We looked at several different floor plans, there wasn't anything bad about the size. It's kind of out there, there wasn't a whole lot out there 'cause that was a newly developed area. I know they had a gym and outdoor pool. We went down to where the buffet area was, but it was a Sunday and it wasn't open. When we were there, there were like no residents. It was like a ghost town and there was nobody around.

My parents are going to move in. It's a very nice, new facility, and the restaurant, food, and dining options were excellent. The staff was very friendly and very good. They will have a nice one-bedroom apartment. They had lots of people there during lunch. My mother met several people who reside there, who were all nice. There's a pool area, a courtyard, an exercise room, a sewing room, a lounge area where they play cards and billiards, and have a happy hour every day.
