My mother is a resident at Windchime. She receives the highest level of care. The facility is clean and well-decorated. There are plenty of activities. The most important thing, though, is the staff. I can't say enough about the individual attention and loving care my mother receives. The staff is what makes Windchime an incredible place!

I liked Windchime at The Village. They were very informative. I worked with a woman named Amanda and also the director, and they were so helpful, showed me around, and gave me a comprehensive tour. The place was so clean. Everybody was smiling. It was a fun little interaction, watching some of the residents trying to play dominoes together. It made me smile because they were just so sweet with them. They did a lot of follow-up making sure I had all my questions answered and gave me all the information I needed to move forward. I wish we could have made that happen, but with the needs that my in-laws needed right now with Medicaid, I had to go a different route, but I will consider them in the future. I toured more of the assisted living right now, but I did get to tour the memory care facility because that was going to be the next progression that my in-laws needed. It was a very comforting experience, like seeing the transition and that it would still be in the same area, just a more secure situation. The room was kind of like a studio with a kitchenette and its own private bathroom and shower. They have one room that is adjoining, kind of like a hotel room, and they offered that if we needed more space, they could be a couple and be in an adjoining room, which was a nice option to have. It was old and maybe needed more windows.

We got to visit the Windchime at The Village. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. The place was clean. They had activities for all the people that live there. They had amenities, like a salon and a courtyard.

I toured Windchime at The Village, it's very nice. It's a smaller facility and homey, they can bring their own furniture if they wish. Everything was centralized and easy to get to. The staff who gave the tour was very friendly, answered all my questions, and gave a very nice tour. The room she showed me was pretty much 1-room with the bathroom attached, so it wasn't like a studio apartment. They have a game room, a place where they do movies, play games, they have entertainment, and people come in and sing for them or different things like that.

My mom has been at Windchime for many years. The staff is very caring, the food is good, and they have fun activities for the residents. I have also been pleased how they have kept mom and other residents safe during COVID. I would recommend Windchime.

I go to many ALF and NH for my work. Windchime is one of the cleanest, happiest, and kindest places I get the chance to visit. I am impressed by the care from the staff, the wonderful food from the kitchen and the overall cleanness from housekeeping. The activity director is high energy and motivate to make sure each resident gets to have a great day regardless of physical abilities. I would move here my self if I were not married with young kids! The rooms are just the right size, and bright and open.

Windchime is assisted living, but they have a wing for memory care. They're not really big on activities for those folks that have memory loss, dementia, or Alzheimer's. The facility is nice, the food is good, and there are no issues with cleanliness. They have activities for people that are not in the memory care everyday. There is bingo, exercise, and trips to Wal-Mart. They know that we want my mother-in-law picked up and taken out for all the activities, but if there is not a family that insists on that, there are no activities for them in the memory unit, and that's the only thing that I don't like about them.

Impossible to get into these days. My mother in law is residing in this facility and although the care is decent and the employees are nice the parking lot is worrisome. I recently went to drop some things off and was stuck in a traffic jam. People parked on both sides of the street chit chatting and cars lined up from the parking lot to the exit. This has happened twice! I am worried about something happening and an ambulance not being able to get into the building. To top that off, the car line and parking lot STUNK of alcohol. I reported it to a member of the staff and they told me that a football team is practicing at the empty field. I am sorry but that is inexcusable, the patients need that parking lot clear.

Windchime is wonderful. I knew some people there. It's beautiful, clean, and the staff was accommodating. The only thing negative about them was that the rooms were very small.

This facility is an Assisted Living that has a Memory Care Unit - - NOT a licensed Alzheimer's Facility. This is the ONLY "memory care" facility within less than an hour plus drive of the Highland Lakes Area (Burnet and Llano counties) of Texas. My husband spent a year in this facility before his death in May of 2012 and I can not recommend them highly enough. The only reason I gave them a 4 star rating instead of 5 has to do with the budget they are forced to work with. I am so greatful for the care they gave my husband that I have spent some of my own time and money for things like a large fish tank and fixing up their courtyard. The staff at this facility ALL go above and beyond what is "required." They truly care about each and every resident. They also support aging in place and work with Hospice so that residents never have to move. This is a TOP NOTCH local facility.
