My mother is in Emerson Pines. It is a community and I like that it's gated. They have security, and they have a little gym, meals, and some activities. We need to have those activities where my mom can exercise and have some social time as well. The person that helped us with the process was nice. They were very accommodating with our schedule. We're very happy with them. She has a one-bedroom apartment, but they have different sizes. They have yoga, dancing, karaoke, and bingo. They offer transportation to the grocery store. It's like a little shuttle that takes the seniors to places. The facility is really good. Her apartment is impeccable. Value for money is fair. It is not cheap, but it was not expensive either.

I toured Emerson Pines and I liked the location of it. It's very close to my work. The apartment the gentleman showed me was very nice. It's a one-bedroom apartment. He didn't show me much of the complex and I'm going to go back to see a two-bedroom just to compare and to see what else they have. It's an older facility, but it was clean. They have a place you can sit with a little putting green.

I had a tour at Emerson Pines. The size of the units was just standard. They were telling me about how they offer rides to doctors' offices and the surrounding areas. They showed me the dining facilities, and they also offer some activities in the dining room area. Some of the elevators are not working and haven't worked for three years. The first-floor units are all taken, and there are open units on the second floor, but not many people want the second-floor units, especially because of the elevators. It's basically an apartment. They've converted some of the apartments into facilities like the dining room. The kitchen in the room comes with a refrigerator, stove, and microwave. The staff who gave the tour was kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful. There's a courtyard between the apartment buildings and there's parking around the edges.

I toured Emerson Pines. They were very nice. It was a nice, and spacious place. And the staff who toured me was nice and very attentive. The room was spacious and can accommodate a wheelchair for my relatives. Everything was clean.

We toured Emerson Pines and it was fine, but it was just too far away from where we would like for my mother to live. It's clean and organized. The staff who accommodated us were helpful and informative. The apartment was updated. It was an empty apartment. The walls were painted with fresh paint. It had all the appliances necessary to live comfortably. It's comfortable overall. The maintenance looked really good from what I saw. They have a pool and a gym. It looked like they had a lot of community activities on special days, which was good. I would rate it a four because I wish the security gates were functioning. It looked like the security gates were non-functioning; it was completely open. If you have functioning security gates with codes, it would feel safer, like not just anybody could walk in.

Food is precooked and brought in via truck & reheated. Like hospital food. Management is poor & non responsive to needs of residents. Maintenance is practically nonexistent. Apartments are comfortable

It was amazing and the lady who gave us the tour was very helpful. They had a wonderful dining room, a chef who prepared their meals, and a guest room for family members when they come in from out of town where they can actually have lunch or dinner with you. If you don't want what's on the menu, they had a separate menu for sandwiches. They also had a little grocery store and pharmacy, washers, dryers, and craft room in the apartment complex. Their apartments were amazing.

It was a wonderful place. Unfortunately, I am not going to be able to afford it, but it was a gorgeous place. I loved the amenities, the way the apartments were set up, the little garden in the middle with benches and tables, and outside walkway. The dining room was really nice. It was a really nice place overall and centrally located. The bus comes right there to pick you up, and they offered trips to stores, such as Walmart, so it was really nice and convenient. The staff was very friendly, too.

I really like the community, and I like the people. The thing I like the most about is instead of being like a hotel apartment living, it enters from a garden area or from the outside rather than from a hallway, which kind of gives it more feeling of independence. They have a really nice cafeteria, and they take care of the prescriptions there, so you don't have to drive to a pharmacy. There's plenty of nice enclosed parking, so it's very safe. The people themselves were very nice, and the gentleman I talked to was very informative and understanding. He listened to me in what I was looking for and what my needs were, and he didn't try to show me something other than what fit my needs which had a big influence on me.

It is a wonderful facility of independent living, but they have lots of extra help, like 24-hour nursing staff. If I have to go to a store, I can call them and tell them where I need to go, and they will take me in their van. Plus, we have breakfast and lunch and lots of activities, like cards, dancing, exercise, and various things going on three to four times a week. I have a leak in my bathroom. I called them this morning, and there was somebody here within 30 minutes who fixed it all the way. They are right on the spot all the time.

My sister is here. The staff is great. My sister is in a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen where she can do any kind of cooking she wants. They provide meals but only during the week for breakfast and lunch. She enjoys cooking, so that is good for her. If she wants to bring up leftovers and not cook, she is able to do that. They provide transportation to wherever she needs to go. It is independent living. I am very pleased.

It was fine. It was a good visit. We had a fine lunch with them, and the food was OK. It wasn’t anything to brag about, but it was good and well prepared. The dining room was one big room with the food around to each table. The living quarters have been redone, so they were very nice and well arranged. Mainly, I wanted to live downstairs, but they didn’t have anything open downstairs. The community was fine. I have known about it for quite a few years and know people there. It’s good.

It is fine. They have a lot of activities; there are at least ten activities on their daily schedule. The food is wonderful. I have the largest one-bedroom apartment that they have
